Melee hunters got nerfed because of pvp… the easiest class to kite. TIme to nerf the most oppressive zero skill class in the game being shadow priest - Press dots, shield, fear, dispersion target dead 0-counter play now. amazingly terrible devs. ALso might as well Nerf - SHamns 1 shotting with the DR they have now, Rogues stunlock (5 minute trinket cd…) Boomies 1 button from stealth 1500-1800 crits…
Agreed. Nerf their DoT dmg by like 25% and see where they stand in a couple weeks.
Shammys are totally broken though. 700 white hit crits. It’s not a good time to PvP as Alliance.

Doesn’t feel good that shadow priests can dot and nuke harder than a warlock… with the same school of magic. Warlock has to choose between dots or nuking and can’t do both.

Health totals in these examples are self buffed, this means no consumables or any buffs which did not come from my own character’s spell book.
In phase 1 after the kill command nerf, Scorpid Poison was dealing approximately 80 damage every 3 seconds once applied. My character at the time had ~1500 hp, With simple math this means each damage tick of Scorpid Poison was 80/1500 = 5.3% of my total life pool.
In phase 2 my character has ~2300 hp, and void plague is dealing approximately 200 damage every 3 seconds once applied. This will grow as more people get geared as well. With simple math this means each damage tick of void plague alone is dealing 200/2300 = 8.7% of my total life pool.
This means void plague alone is relatively 64% stronger than Scorpid Poison was. That 64% would mean that void plague is dealing kill command + Scorpid poison levels of damage. The difference is Nora plays a priest and no one on the dev team plays a hunter.

Thats how Aggrend and Nora do balance. If they die in pvp, that class gets nerfed. If they aren’t winning, their class gets buffed.
Devs play Shadow Priests, so relax, it’s all going according to plan.

Oh 100%. And they dont even try to balance, they just do whatever is cried the loudest. The druid rework was taken from a reddit thread complaining about druids.
And does neither one alone as well as a spriest does both at once.
Better to focus on shamans, rogues and BM hunter pet’s and leave priests alone
Priests are not the boogeymen you make them out to be… you just suck, and not just a little bit, like you are terrible.
imagine thinking that pressing dots from distance, shield, dispersion dead is some how a skill cap. literally u have unlimited mana, there is no counter. You are a trash clown if you think there is any skill in that.

Shadow word pain, and void plague alone around enough to kill every other class from 100% hp. I play a priest, I know exactly how strong they are.
You forgot, they can also silence for 5 seconds, stun, and fear.
They reworked druid based on a reddit comment and the forums rejoiced.
Until Aggrend is fired it will keep happening. They do this in retail to literally force m+ players to reroll every season.
