I got the cloak on a number of toons, but never leveled it up on any of them. Worst content in the game. I no longer do BfA content.
still failling to see the point i do keys twice a week with my guild mostly 15-19s the other days are spent helping guildmates and raiding. i can only assume you guild is one of those hierarchy guilds that only runs keys with the core group and almost never helps its lower memebers. i carried 15 people through heoric nâzoth this week what did you do for your guild memebers?
Carry through visions, carry lower keys, etc. We do it all too, why do you think I would need to go outside my guild for any of that? If someone asks, we help them.
I did the cloak unlock on five different characters. Thatâs enough for me.
Itâd have been more interesting if the questline played out in a different way depending on class or rep or something. Like if you had already maxed out the Champions of Azeroth faction, you got some extra buff or something.
thats so easy to say particularly on a classic character. let me tell you something man ive seen a lot of guilds like yours who say that and never actually do it. it took me four years of playing to find a guild like the one im in so forgive me if im not quick to believe you.
also more importently you never said speficlly what you yourself did for a guildmate this week and low guildmate at that
You mean like how it was in WoD, MoP and all other expansions (including Vanilla) that werenât just drops and had to do a lot to get them?
I love though how you just mention BfA though.
As a side note, that whole couple of hours to unlock the cloak is soooo crazy huh? I mean in all those other expansions and Vanilla it took weeks and more.

When I want to do M+ i say on discord âanyone up for M+â and we set up a time. Or âanyone need help with anythingâ. I just carried a guy who just came back to the game through visions yesterday.
I really donât care what you believe honestly, I donât pug, I hate pugging, Iâd rather run with people I know (most of our guild have met IRL) and thereâs always people available. I havenât pugged since early WoD, no reason to.
oh boy you carried one guy through a vision your such a great helper and contributer to your guild.(refers you back carrying 15 people through heroic nâzoth) hope you at least gave him a 5 mask cause anyone can carry through no masks. not only that i carried 3 basically freash toons through 15s yesterday and i carried another through a 5 mask. im sorry but if you call one vision helping your guild id leave the guild immeditly
which brings me back to my point that being unable to play every spec optimaly just hurts the players because i cant help my guild effectivly if i cant optimaly play both my dps and my tank and niether can they and we dont have the time to level two of the same class because we already have so much to do during the week
I mean, no one really needs anything else right now lol, itâs the end of expansion, we do things together so unless someone took a break and came back they donât need anything.
Weâre not a huge guild with lots of people that need carrying through things. We only have like 20-25 people and they all play regularly for the most part.
And I donât know why judging how my guild is run and what we do has anything to do with the fact that I was just saying I donât pug.
Have unlocked and obtained the cloak on six characters so far. Only took a couple of evenings. Yes, if you want to level them for end game progression content, that will take time. Probably not as much as people are making it out to be but it will take time.
then your not really guild your a core group of people that have enough numbers to make a guild. i can only assume they guy you âhelpedâ is someone who has helped you before. our guild isint like that. difference between you and me is while im in my core mythic group i actually help the peop,e who are not and that goes for our other officers. the people i carried through nâzoth? the only thing i expect in return is a few extra flasks from my guild leader.
and im trying to bring it back to the point i made that alt specs will not be readily avaible to many classes because of how covenents work. and yes this affects my ability to tank and dps for my guild. i dont know what you intend to main in SL but if it is not affected by covenents drastically id like to know what it is. it will also affect my pug experince because i like to gear my dps as a tank. but if i do that then ill never be able to put out optimal damage on my dps. AND YOU NEED OPTIMAL DPS FOR MYTHIC RAID I DONT CARE WHAT SPEC YOU ARE OR IF YOUR CUTTING EDGE OR NOT

Not even trying to do that in BFA and SLs sounds even worse at this point.

And yes, we are a guild, and a group of friends, itâs the way the game is best played, with a group of friends.

If the right corruption comes up you can. It might be weeks for the right corruption/level combo to be up for sale. Thereâs no aspect of corruption that isnât RNG.
those ww monks probobly raid more then once a week and for more then 3 hours

What does time raiding have to do with anything? We raid 3 days/wk for 3 hrs a night.

im working on an alt warrior and his neck was back to same lvl as my main within 2 weeks.
theres a catchup mechanic in place if your main is high.
the cloak is a bit worse but theres still catch up mechanics ; you can get 2 upgrades a week past 15 while those who stayed on top of it can only get one.
then the essences are easy you can straight up buy lvls 3 from mother if your main has unlocked them, without any timegate.
the big choke-point ends up being echoes for corruptions and residuum for the 480 pieces.
omg i litteraly just told you that if i gear on tank my dps spec will always be sub optimal because of how covenents work and you need optimal dps for mythic raid learn to read
time raiding has to do with everything the more practice you have on the boss the better you get at it this should be basic knowledge
If you needed optimal dps then monks wouldnât be killing nâzoth, they would literally not be able to because they are the exact opposite of optimal dps
context please you need optimal dps for your spec not the raid overall
