Imagine not being on your main

Honestly, I think Legion was well received purely because it was novel.

It was the first expansion since Wrath that really changed the formula for how WoW works in a significant way.

But as Blizzard repeat the same model over and over and over, the cracks in it start to show.

Most likely. I personally also believe it did some advancing of the story in a way that matters via order halls. Classes will always be important so any story dealing with our classes will be more interesting. Unlike covenant stories for example, which will only be important for this one expansion. Afterwards we will forget all about covenants. As it has no effect on the world as a whole. So a little less interesting. I have hypothesized in the past if they was to do something similar but with races instead of classes. The story would probably be more well received just as it was in legion.

And to hide those cracks they try to add a new twist to existing systems (fake wod pvp vendors, fake valor system) that people liked originally and basically pull a we have this at home meme on those systems and its not at all what was asked

I have a 57 DH that I really want to try out for something different (it’s melee, get it, opposite). I mainly want the necrolord fly mount and I seem to recall renown 45 coming pretty quick.

I go back and forth with the alt thing, I actually have two already and they’re both kind of wastes (Though Teearr is an amazing homage to Roosevelt and I can’t take that away from him), I play neither at all. They don’t even have legendaries or complete covenant sets. I’m over vulpera (and now that I’m playing with my brother again, shaman is his class) and my HM druid was a joke character, and those wear thin.

Unless you’re this joke character (Alice in Wonderland, or Alice in Chains?) but I could get so many different jokes out of this name just by changing my guild, maybe that’s why I’ve never gotten tired of it.

Maybe kinda sorta gonna go level the dh. When I heard the nerf didn’t hit then as hard as I personally expected it would (I admit I often default to worst case scenarios) I figured it was worth revisiting, and it’s been fun, when I’m not getting kicked for not understanding melee mechanics that’ve never had to be explained to this character obviously.

And to the Sir who /whispered me the strat after the kick, you have still likely saved me time and I salute you. Everyone’s looking for an excuse to kick a dh without warning or explanation it seems.

And you know I can blame it on the game being alt unfriendly. What’s more likely, that I genuinely didn’t know how melee interacted in the construct fight, or that I was trolling the group on a dh I probably didn’t give a crap about? I’d never do the second one but in this climate of “spend a token if you want any hope of ever remotely catching up” I could see people getting cynical.

The necrolord mount is super chill, I just got it on my alt (the one I want to EVENTUALLY switch to be my main). Was jealous as heck back when my friend first unlocked it haha.

One token won’t do anything btw. The short list of 252 pieces you can get from the AH literally would cost a few million gold. I’m not even acknowledging that exists, because so far the only people I’ve seen who were actually “pay2win” were so garbage that they get benched in every guild they hop to.

DH is in a wonderful place right now, so it’s a good choice, but at the end-end game (trying to prog mythic raid) you literally can’t possibly be caught-up enough until roughly 1 month after the toon is max. Assuming you go hard and do everything possible to get them there asap too.

That is disheartening, but good to know. I was just going to check into what the prices were. I’m definitely not paying cash for a million gold, so I guess it’ll remain to be messed around with and not much else. Maybe a month from now those prices will come down.
