I had several duplicates spread around on different characters. I’m indifferent about stuff coming back now, but man was I peeved back then. Wish I could have sold those cards instead of using them for alts. Granted, I never bought cards or mounts directly and almost all of my mounts came from actually playing the TCG, but still!

they are required by Chinese Law to operate through a state owned 3rd party distributor. That’s why they had to have an agreement with NetEase, which was not renewed and hence WoW will be shutting down in China for now

Mounts not being account-wide was honestly kind of cool. Like, seeing a char with a vicious, tcg or otherwise rare mount, even with just something like invincible or ashes of al’ar.
