Honestly, we need more actual evil villains.
I am a little tired of how everyone is a good guy, who made one bad decision, and now feels sorry about it after years and years of digging their grave. 
Azshara needs to suffer consequences.

At this point does anyone really care? Alliance burn innocent Vulpera alive, and Horde helped commit genocide on an entire civilian populace. Yeah yeah Azshara did a lot of way worse things but at this point I don’t think we as a playerbase give a crap about the whole morality thing. She’s a sassy popular character and people probably would rather see more of her than killed off.
This really isn’t how redemption arcs work.
But I do agree that Azshara shouldn’t be redeemed. It simply does not fit her character.

Blizzard does love to bring people back. It’s easier to bring back someone with a fanbase than build a new fanbase for a new character.

She’s much more entertaining than a lot of the bad guys we run into. Personally, I hope she sticks around as an antagonist. If they wanted to make things really fun she could occasionally pop in to help us because she finds us entertaining jesters and loves messing with other characters (imagine if Tyrande, Shandris, or Thalyssra had to play nice with her because she’s helping against the current big bad).
