at first listen, the imac sound is … painful, it sounds like a speakers where the bass has been blown. I’d like to keep desk clutter to a minimum, anyone have tips on how to affect the output? turn off whatever apple thinks is a subwoofer?
short answer, not really, it’s terrible. you can try to mess with it using 3rd party tools but it’s just stupid bad. only choice is to plug in something that has adjustable bass.
