OP, sorry you’re unhappy. You’re right to at least take a break if logging on just makes you grind your teeth. I usually just play the game, doing the things I like and ignoring all the other stuff going on. If you feel like you really need a WOW fix, maybe try turning off chat, staying out of all communities, and just playing for the fun of it. Good luck in any case.

Of course I am not going to be friendly to someone who insults me, what kind of logic is that to see someone attack someone else and then when they respond in kind go “OH! OH! See, not friendly at all! That guy who retaliates proves the community is not friendly for not rolling over and taking it! We were right, the community is bad!”

Part of it is mad because the Dev’s hasn’t caved in to the High Elf on Alliance Side demands, stomping his feet and saying “I’m gone for good this time! Really! I mean it!”.

In all honesty, the best course of action you could have taken would be to simply ignore the intentionally silly argument from the start. The line “What is he having and where can I get some?” is an OLD joke, one which should have been seen coming a mile away.
You could have cracked a little joke in return by offering something in jest.

Ok man lemma try to cut to the point – World of Warcraft does not revolve very much about Allied Races. We have gotten enough and from here on out i don’t see them releasing more and more and more, I wouldn’t even expect a new Race for next expansion – If you really are “done” playing WoW over this, it’s not a very good reason . If u didn’t even visit the Forums u would prob have no idea about all these ideas people come up and decide “hey lol a Crab sounds cool for Allied Race”
Just my2c of advice, Play the game and avoid thinking of new Races
