In a good spot? Agreed, champ.
When do I get my turn being that guy?
Oh, you mean I could quite possibly never be that guy?
Personal Loot:
- Boss dies
- Game rolls to see who gets loot
- Game rolls to see which piece of loot is given based off loot spec
Group loot:
- Boss dies
- Game rolls to drop different pieces on that loot table
- Game rolls to see who gets loot based off the type of roll by the individuals
Right it’s so much better with Personal Loot where you just don’t see the loot rolls, and still don’t get any loot.
The only other options would be giving loot to everyone without rolls, like participation trophies.
We’ve seen entire threads on this. They weren’t trolling.
All four of them? Some of them were trolling.
Except that 90% of Raid trinkets and rings are STUPIDLY overpowered…
when i had a phase playing everquest TLP, we used DKPs and that was nice for me
just had to always be there and never waste it on bad things and then you were on top of the list real quick!
i dont think it would work well here though. reliability/attendance becomes priority number 1 and the people that dont take it so seriously hate it.
there was a bit of mindgames too with the bidding. could make someone spend more than they would normally have, to get them lower on the list after a “purchase” lol
Nah, I’d much rather roll on loot then have the loot faeries drop it in my bag
Though pl should probably be in lfr
Number of people responding in many different threads who said they enjoyed SL. And irrelevant if some were trolling.
“Some” invalidates your “nobody.”
Personal loot was guaranteed though. There was no roll to see who got loot, just a check to see if you already received a drop from that boss. If you already received a drop, no loot. Otherwise, yeah, a roll based on your spec to see which piece from that table you will get.
Group stacking was still a thing in LFR, as they’d take new FotM alts or new members in for tier, weapons, trinkets.
And no, you can’t stop people from doing that, as battleground premades proved.
This stopped group stacking almost entirely, because loot drops aren’t determined by loot spec any longer.
No one was ever guaranteed loot. Ever.
False. The game rolled to see who got loot, then rolled to see which piece for that loot spec was given to them.

I mean from just yesterday…
Absolutely relevant.
The fact of the matter is SL drove away so many wow players it made Blizzard change their entire philosophy.
Oh sorry you want to get exactly technical so a very minute portion of players enjoyed it.
Rough to go in and see all 5 pieces of loot not be available to even your entire class, much less a spec lol
Eh, I see what you’re saying, but because you can’t make loot rules in lfr it kind of sucks when one person wins 10 things
Above that you can be like 1 item per pesron
ONE TOPIC! Golly gee whilkers I guess that means everybody says it, just like you said.
You were wrong. You claimed the following:
And that is factually incorrect.
If you want to move goalposts, you can do that on your own time.

I never said anyone. I just said as per GD. Which that one thread, along with many others i just dont feel like linking, prove the point
