I'm sorry Blizzard I had to unsub

I have enjoyed playing WoW for over 15 years, but sadly this will be my last.

I do NOT enjoy getting the “BUY Dragon flight” message every time I hit a load screen, this in your face sales tactic feels like “robo-caller” on steroids.

I enjoyed playing old content until this “SPAM” tactic was implemented. I see this message 50+ times a day and it makes the game un-playable, un-enjoyable and just annoying.

Sorry, I’m done with this.

I have unsubscribed, if this was meant to make me want to buy “Dragon Flight” it was a complete failure on your part.

Maybe think about how you treat your paying customers next time

This isn’t an airport, you don’t have to announce your departure :slightly_smiling_face:

At 4630 achievement points and no current expansion, it is doubtful they have anything worth looting from the mailbox.

Blizzard, you really need to take this to heart. Pressure sales is for the car business, not the gaming world, back off.

Better than nothing though! I still regret the time I gave away all my gold when I “quit” only to come back a patch later. Was only about 300k but still… that was two months game time!

As someone who never plays without the current expansion active I did not know this was a thing. TIL.

I think there’s a way to boot into WoW without having to see the battle net login. At least, there used to be.

“ Is it possible to play Blizzard games without using the launcher?

All of the current Battle.net shortcut codes for starting games without having to use the Battle.net launcher. You may use “battlenet:/____” in a windows shortcut or any other software (such as rainmeter) that starts programs like a shortcut to launch Battle.net games without having to view the launcher.”

Why not just buy it even if you wont play it yet?

You enjoy the game. Why not support its makers?

Who would’ve thought people would actually choose to stay in shadowlands.

Buys everything on the menu to support local restaurant instead of buying just what he eats.

That sounds super obnoxious and I hope they nix that.

He said he played for 15 years. He would play it later not just now.

If he’s cheap, why not have him play free games? Not this game. The game is not targetted for him anyway.

Because there’s a lot of content in the game outside of DF. Most people haven’t done all of it, and OP was happy enough to play like that.

People on the forums are really scraping the bottom of the barrel to find things to be outraged over/complain about anymore XD Guess its a good tell that the game is in a good state when these are the outrage/“I’m quitting” threads.

Is there not like an addon made for this problem?

Apology not accepted

This happens with literally every game i play.

New expansion, season pass, battle pass, new dlc, new game, etc…

Companies will always advertise in their own client. Sorry that it annoyed you into leaving, but 1 dude unsubbing wont change an industry practice.

Well, you had a good run. Shame you couldn’t just get Dragonflight, but I it is your money and time.
