I can’t see a world where it’s fair to give the worst class in the freacking game a 6% aura buff, and only nerf Assasin by 15% on 1 ability, knowing that that assasin rogue is doing like 15% more dmg than the second place.
this feels like blizz is spitting in my face, saying “Frick you for playing monk” and noone from blizz is saying something about it, there are so many things wrong about ww, that this forum has many posts about it.
i’m tired of being bench’d just because i’m a ww, if you’re there monk dev, i really wish you get fired and noone hires you again, because clearly you don’t know neither understand how to tune anything in this game or any other

We don’t have a WW monk dev. The only dev we ever had who quite at the start of DF was MW main and could not care about WW to save his job.

They spit on us mistweaver to!! Think someone in blizzard hates monks!! But yet they once again buff there baby resto druids they stay at the top!! Mistweaver been at the bottom all dragonflight!! And we finally get are time in sun they nerf mistweaver again im over blizzard and there favoritism for other classes!!!

These feel like very VERY soft nerfs and my MW was gapping other healers in raid hard soooo I dunno. I see these nerfs as an absolute win if they stop here. MW monks are NEO right now dodging meaningful nerfs like bullets.

I just don’t understand how tuning is so hard for Blizzard to do in a world where computers and calculators exist.
Hire an intern or something if you don’t have the manpower. There is no skill beyond a high school diploma required.

- Rake damage decreased by 10%.
- Shred damage decreased by 10%.
Yeah but that is the problem with MW design. They pretty much need to have higher HPS to be desirable because every other healer has more desirable tool kits.

We just got a 3% overall healing buff (resto druid).
Yup we had 2 healers reroll mw this tier and now we have to bench one of them cause they don’t have the major cds, utility that comes from the others. 1 is fine to bring to fill to monk role but thats all you need.

Considering the tier sets yeah probably like this seasons tier is awful and looks more like a Pandaria themed Rogue set.

Monk is Chinese, no one in the Blizzard team knows Chinese. That’s my conclusion.
I have a Chinese background. When I started playing Monk and Mist of Pandaria, I remember I was absolutely shocked by how well the Blizzard team back then caught the cultural elements from Chinese culture to make the game.
The character dynamic between energy and chi, compared with newly introduced “faeline stomp”, those new guys just have no clue. How can they make any real improvement on the class?
All the cool stuff about the monks were designed by blizzard old team dacade ago. The new team just have no clue what monk is. not to mention to get it catch up with other classes.

Well what is actually worse is that the new green Faeline stomp looks themed like “Yuulon the Jade Serpent”
BUT…
It’s supposed to be Chiji that you summon with Faeline!!! Why would I be spinning crane kicking awakened Faeline on a green yuulon Faeline as opposed to a Chi Ji themed Faeline??
Chi ji empowers your spinning crane kicks which are also empowered by the awakened Faeline, so realistically it should be like pulsing red, pink, and purple colors and shooting out cherry blossom petals, crane feathers, orange sparkles when you use your abilities that interact with Faeline while Chi Ji is active

They do have someone who has a specific responsibility of windwalker. That person does play windwalker at a decent level

Also, and more importantly, why are you this (stupidly) emotional when we don’t yet know what dec 5th will bring? They were flatly asked what about buffs for windwalker, and a blue post flatly said they will be bringing class tuning and more changes on the 5th.
And as of right now, wowhead has had no more blue trackers about what the 5th will bring. So sit down and shhh
EDIT: I try to be someone who owns up to my mistakes, and yes: they do have that in the forums. Not on wowhead that i can see yet, but it’s probably lagging. So i am sorry. Yes, it looks like just a 6% buff.
Hm. Idk how to feel! It’s better than nothing? And also it makes me feel like a rework is inevitable. Some day, some way.

honestly the most i would do is learn his/her schedule. follow them. procure a tasty delicious cream pie from a bakery. lie in wait in a bush, closet, etc and then emerge and throw the pie in their face promising more will come unless they do better with spec design before vanishing just as quickly as i arrived, hiding in a dumpster or the sewer to avoid the police

Honestly gotta agree with that considering Monk Armour sets lately like they’re just looking up google images of Chinese, Japanese and Asian Culture at this point for ideas.

I had this happen to me this Tier also. I was all ready to main my MW but that would have left my raid with no Holy Pally. We could survive without the additional hps since the other healers are priest and druid, but not without the Damage reduction cooldowns and utility.
This is what makes me nervous about any nerfs to MW as well. As others have pointed out, MW was only being brought for the hps. Without that hps or improvements to its kit, it will end up back at the bottom of the pile. Only now, WW and BM are in bad enough shape that teams may not want them either.
Blizz is just not giving people much reason to play this class and it’s frustrating.

Yeah that’s why fotm healers never work out as composition wise its just a mess. I fully expect the average mythic raid guild to have the traditional priest, pali, druid, “insert class here” roster with the insert still being MW due to not wanting a WW or BM but any buff to BM will move BM in and then shammie will take the MW spot instantly.
