You do know that you could have google searched if the mounts were armored or not for classic, as blizzards stated a long while back that they would not be unarmored to give less incentive to rush to 60 as they wanted people to take their time and enjoy the game.

A fun change (HUR HUR 85IQ GRUG SAY #NOCHANGES) would have been to put the mount in the game with a 5,000G pricetag. Classic could use some major gold sinks and unarmored epic mounts would be a novel way to accomplish that.

We hit 60, did MC once, saw how boring it was, and quit.
And we didn’t particularly rush either, it’s just about using your time wisely.

Quite a bit less. My Paladin has been 60 with an epic mount for 3 weeks.
