While I do believe the chromie system is not only unnecessary but extremely inconvenient, leveling via both dungeons and quests yield quick results. It is technically easier to level, in that it’s quicker, and expansions are designs to cap you.

However the system seems cancerous when you consider how The player base is forced apart in the expansions, and while leveling, with the inability to use premade group option, and being unable to join eachother without swapping your campaign, and ontop of that having a much more limited dungeon selection.

They should have had chromie just be a quest giver, to direct you to the expansions, not put you into a different phase.

Come on. Addons take a while to update. Most of the people who make addons are not even paid to do it.

The title is misleading also. You don’t sound like a “new” player. More like an “old” player rolling an alt.

Get the shadowlands beta version of details. It’s made for 9 and works great.

Leveling is a great time to learn more about the game than just dungeons. Dungeons are good, but new players shouldn’t level exclusively through them.

You can spam dungeons to level my friend. You just need to get to level 10, do the first entry quests of your initial zone quest line, come back to town, get the quest to talk to Chromie from your Hero Board by the AH, talk to her, choose a expac to quest in, then do a few intro quests and queue for dungeons until you’re 50. You can even change the expact if you want, just got to talk to chromie again.

That may be the ONLY thing working right (for me) in this rekt pre-patch

Got to say my first impression of WoWup is really good. I already like it a lot more than Twitch. Hopefully they keep it up.

And change is good…

I can happily tell BM hunter haterss to check themselves. We are now 3+ buttons. Confused the hell out of me for second when I did a noob char and selected BM when I could and kept what used to be more MM Castes.

Yay…I at least have to press arcane, steady and Kill command. 3 buttons people…take your 1 button comments elsewhere now lol.

Side note for me…must remember to put in all the one touch pet attacks in the macros I have to make like i have done for the other castes. You know…the /pet attack addons since you can’t trust auto to actually do this. all my castes say do this, just to be sure.

This to me is a good problem to have though lol.

Yes you can, you need to talk to Chromie to pick a timline which will unlock those dungeons within the timline.

It is a lot easier because you get more core abilities at the start and levling is a LOT shorter due to the squish.

You can update them via Twitch. Go to Mods> World Of Warcraft> My Addons, after that click “Update All”. It may have trouble loading because of the amount of people doing the same as you are.

You might want to compare arcane shot to cobra shot. I think cobra is more powerful and has less cost to it.

Idk from experience, just read that in another thread where hunters were talking about it.

Yep, this post definitely smells fishy.

If you are using twitch, go to your mods and delete the details you have. Then search for it again. There is a Details Shadowlands. That’ll work.

I think new players should get randomly swooped into the Maw…like those fake policemen grabbing people during parades.

You have to update your addons every patch. Get use to updating them. Class changes also happen between every expansion. This is all normal stuff.

I am spamming dungeons in my disc priest like crazy bro, what are you talking about. I dont even quest. Lvl 31 only doing dungeons.

I cant even queue for a dungeon on the new toon I made. They just simply dont appear on the list and I get an error when attempting to join queue with my role selected.
