I'm only 429 ilvl and I absolutely explode people as sub in battlegrounds

When long time r1 players who been going for many many xpacs, suddenly stop actually playing to go do different things sorta shows evidence of the contrary

We’re in the bg forums and you’re worried about rank 1s in arena :joy:

And yet you had no problem linking things for arena earlier. You have weird logic there dude.

Because that was suggested to me first. Also you’re talking about rank 1s. A small minority of wow.

“But teacher they pushed me first”

I mean, yea.

Do you have a concussion? Because using the arguement, “they did it first” is a weak stance. It doesn’t suddenly make it better.

“Yes judge I hit them, but they hit me first”
Judge: “well then yall both will get to spend some time in county 120 days”

Nope, I’m doing well today thank you.

I just explained it better.

The guy in the thread doesn’t know it but he’s referring to a soft reset of MMR. That’s pretty clear.

Overall, it hurts wintrading and because of wintrading ladder is forced to rebuild MMR to then start getting a higher number.

Note: Also in the season this guy made the thread people were still getting 3300.
R1 cutoffs for EU was something like 3150 and US was 3000

Depending on what comp you’re gibbing, maybe. People still getting 3k+ this season.
You make it sound pretty frequent they’re “nerfing MMR” (which i think youre mistaking for a soft reset which is definitely not the same thing) but I’ve never seen a blue post for it?

Healing people with my 441 ilvl MW monk in bgs means getting about 10mil healing done per WSG/EoTS game. Usually 4mil more than the second place healer, which is often a healer with better AoE potential.

So, yes, ilvl really plays a big part in destructive/constructive potential in PvP. Though I did crush a wind walker monk with 320k hp yesterday while playing my lvl 117 ret paladin…

Congratulations! I feel like gear should be irrelevant in PvP, and I hope they do something to normalize gear in randoms like they do in time-walking dungeons. I know that a lot of people love their gear (I do too), but I think that this change would be for the best. Alternatively, I like the idea of ilvl brackets. However, I worry that people would exploit the ilvl bracket system by removing a trinket or something.

Why did you bother necroing a thread?

I didn’t want to make a repeat thread but I still wanted to talk about it.

That’s actually necroing and against tos, make a new thread

Repeat threads are against the tos too

There is a difference between spam making threads that are current and discussing a topic. There is no current thread so you ok

He is dense. Can’t get anything across.

Can we get this one pinned?
