I will add to your list, destruction warlock, resto druid (no damage), guardian druid, ret pally, aug or dev evoker, frost dk, fury or arms war, in case you want to try out others or recommend easy
TV repairmon mon.
Yes I do Like frost DK rotation.
Make sure to check out the others too, there are still easy specs and there might be more I don’t play so I didn’t list
Oh I have. Ive analyzed every class on my own performance. Paladins are pretty simple too, but didn’t understand the buffs when I first started playing. Id say hes mid tier.
I think the harder specs to get into in retail anyway are balance (druid), fire/arcane (mage), sub/outlaw (rogue) and brew/mist (monk).
The easier ones I found and that I play personally are frost mage, assassin rogue, prot pally, arms/fury warr and windwalker monk.
Gonna sound weird but WW monk was my hardest to attempt and the second class I ever attempted. Sub rogue is just burst as much as possible and pray u kill the enemy. I’d switch those for myself personally.
Returrrrrn the slaaab…
Is this a borderlands reference? Brick always yells at me and calls me SLAB!!
Nah, it’s a Courage The Cowardly Dog meme. A slab gets stolen from a tomb in Egypt, and it makes it’s way to Eustace. He then meets the ghost of King Ramses who haunts his land and repeats himself, constantly saying “Return the slab” while delivering curses on his house.
Edit: I was a youngster when this episode first aired, and it was around midnight when it did. Ramses legit looks horrifying as a kid. It took years before I could watch it without being scared. Now it’s just hilarious lol.
yeah thats why Courage got cancelled, But I loved it and it never scared me as a kid.
Fortunately wow doesn’t require you to be smart at all. Everything is figured out before a patch or season launches and is available in video or written formats. Even if that weren’t the case, wow lacks complexity and depth so you can be a simpleton and figure out builds and rotations. With the 1 button feature coming it doesn’t matter how simple or complex a rotation is because you can now execute them all with 1 button without even knowing what any of the abilities do.
Easy rotations are fine. Blizzard even outright markets easy rotations as accessible. Ret Paladin has been S+ for sometime now.
Every class will have and easy rotation in a couple months, so don’t worry about it and play the game how you want to play. Noone elses opinion matters when it comes to how you want to play the game you pay for.
I want new players to play, but I don’t think it’s about rotation or raw skill but do you have 26 hours a day to play and additionally…
RNG to get invited
RNG from the boss loot and /roll need
RNG from arena comp
RNG from your guild showing up to play
RNG from addons being updated
RNG from server maintenance
RNG from my ISP and wireless
RNG due to back pain
RNG due to family aggro
RNG picking meta unless you have 50 max alts
RNG due to Nvidia drivers
I like the MM rotation because in theory it’s not complicated. It’s mostly two buttons. In practice you need to time it well because you’re real stationary during your Aimed Shot casts, and you have no way, save a L&L proc, to cast it while moving.
If you’re not rocking Improved Streamline, it’s an awful long cast time. And in most LoU fights standing still for any length of time is a death sentence, especially in the later fights.
It’s all about pushing what you know you can get away with, and what you can’t so you don’t eat an AoE mid-cast.
Sounds like you are plenty smart. Have figured out that “playing smarter not harder” is pretty much the best way to get from point A to point B, and prioritize where you want to put your brain cells (pvp strategies).
I’m struggling to find the point of this post?
DH dps is really not a simple spec to play unless you are fine with doing 20-30% less dmg then you should be.
It is only new player friendly in the sense that they have tons of passive self healing so can quest and level without any real friction, but that is true of almost every single spec in the game now.
Play what you want, OP.
Every single spec in the game has someone trash talking it either being too easy, too strong or too hard.
You sound like you’re around my age. What a rarity! (1996)
