I'm literally offended by the new Deathknights quest

Inherently. There is a reason prodigies are usually referred to younger people (usually pre-teen). Yes, you have to GENERALLY act on that strength and enhance it, but a prodigy is usually starting out 5 steps ahead of the average person. It is why some like 9 year olds can play pieces of music that a lot of high schoolers that have been playing for 7 years total cannot.

She fixed and flew the Falcon better than Han Solo, a ship she should know nothing about

She uses mind tricks without learning them at all

She defeats Kylo and Luke in combat when she has basically no training

She moves a freaking mountain, still with no training

Defeats trained guards like its nothing

Gets herself out of trouble just about always

Defeats Palpatine despite being weaker and him gotten stronger

but shes a prodigy.
Did you not pay attention at all? XD

Being so easily offended is soooooooo 2019

So their lore is

“Hey, you died in the recent war, and got raised. There you go!”

Yeah, so much lore. So much depth and substance to their story… Lul

There’s no lore. There’s only Blizzard conveniently using the current story as a way to introduce them and up shadowlands pre sales

There’s been nothing showing bolvar raising allied races as DKs.

The four horseman are all original races, and characters that have backstories.

Blizz shoehorned them into the game just like void elves. Even less so because VE’s at least got a half baked story

Heres even a really detailed video explaining why she is a Mary Sue

And heres a shorter one that just goes to facts

i was joking.
I like her but she didn’t earn her strength
She just kinda had it for no explained reason other than Kylo got good so she did too

She’s a scavenger who knows a few things about mechanics and how things work. She almost crashed it the first time she flew it, multiple times. Also this is not the first time in Star Wars that we’ve seen someone with Jedi abilities able to pilot advanced vehicles that normal pilots have trouble with. See Anakin Skywalker flying both his Podracer (something even Qui-jon states that he must have jedi reflexes to pilot) and the Naboo Starfighter, which he’s never flown before.

She failed to use the mind trick twice, and got lucky the third time.

Kylo was already badly injured when he fought Rey, and he was winning for most of the fight. The fight with Luke was one that he was winning until Rey used the force to grab and ignite Luke’s old Lightsaber, which caused Luke to recoil and fall because wet stairs and a piece of flimsy metal isn’t going to stop a lightsaber from cutting him in half.

She never moves a mountain. She does however move some rocks, which she actually got training for from Luke.

She struggles against pretty much every guard she fights against, especially in the fight in the Snoke’s room.

Has the spirits of all the Jedi giving her a power boost, otherwise she’d have lost because… she was losing until they gave her that boost.

Yep, as I thought, you weren’t paying attention.

I know just wanted to post them if you wanna laugh at how poorly written she is

I think you’re being a bit over dramatic here. Or are looking for reasons to qq.

I would very much prefer Blizzard not remove on of the best - if not the best - RP moments in the game. The battle for lights hope and the voice acting that was put into it is perfect. There’s no improving it and removing it would be a god damn travesty.

Thats not the same has fixing a freaking huge ship she knows nothing about

She should have not pulled it off regardless

Still stupid

Luke didnt trained her at all, btw a “few” rocks:

She still defeats them when they are far better trained than her, btw that fight was so horrible…

Plot armor

I was more than you apparently, and its horrible writing

It’s (I think) to differentiate between veterans of the 3rd and 4th war. The original dk quests make it clear that we’re resurrected from the dead of the 3rd war.

Just because a component is attached to a working ship, doesn’t mean she’s instantly clueless about how the components work, and again, as I pointed out up there in an edit, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen someone with Jedi abilities pilot vehicles they aren’t familiar with.

That’s your opinion, but your point is still debunked.

Again, point debunked, in both cases.

Luke gave her three lessons, he trained her until she left to resume the fight against the First Order.

Better training doesn’t automatically mean you win. Count Dooku had more training than Anakin Skywalker, along with tons of experience fighting with a Lightsaber, he still got wrecked in Revenge of the Sith.

Point debunked.

You can go home now, class dismissed.

They’re setting Sylvanas up to be Warcraft’s Kerrigan, and that plotline was just as idiotic. Obviously the amount of times she dies means nothing, given that she’s (apparently) required to advance the story. Whatever that might be at this point.

Luke had background knowledge about flying ships, she didnt

Mind tricks is an ability that must be learned, not something you can just pull off

Kylo should have mop the floor with her, even when injured

Slapping her with a twig is not training.

By that point Anakin was a fully trained Jedi.

Oh im losing!!!, oh wait lets turn on the plot armor and get a sudden power boost!!!

I was actually quite happy to learn that my new Vulpera Death Knight didn’t have to be subjected through a long-winded and boring questline. Just straight to the point and wham, level 58, as it should be.

I guess I’m shill #4 since I disagree with you. So be it, better than whining about every intricate detail and being so triggered by it.

Btw if anyone wanna see how truly horrible the Throne room fight was heres some clips:

Pretty sure he made them because he saw Sylvanas as a threat not to deal with Jaina.

I mean, people have expressed a very valid point already.

The original DK story was all about freeing themselves of the shackle of the Lich King, it made sense to have a whole story line for it.

These new DKs? They are literally just “you know what, we can just raise more dks now aye?” So it’s understandable that they wouldn’t have a big quest in, they were just dead and now they ain’t.

Should it be more than 1 quest? Sure, it probably should have been. But should it be as grand as the old WotLK storyline? No of course not. And that’s even disregarding the fact that the WotLK one was a huge part of the expansion release not just some added bonus for the final patch of an expansion.
