I'm just going to say it. Mythic+ is and at its core, fundamentally a mistake, and anti WoW

The great part about doing mythic raiding for me is doing it with people I’ve come to know and enjoy the company of over the past decade. We laugh, we joke, we do games nights, we enjoy playing with eachother and have formed strong social bonds because of that. In recent years several core players have stepped back from WoW and they still hang out with us. The thing that created that atmosphere was our love of overcoming challenges together, and we simply wouldn’t have gotten that if the content to challenge us didn’t exist.

Ditto. We just celebrated our 10th year of cutting edge raiding and have a bunch of folks who don’t play anymore but still hang out on our discord.

It’s the ONLY reason I play WoW: The people.
