I'm glad we're getting buyable murloc pets

Trolling is against the Code of Conduct

Again, when you compared the murloc pets to getting bug fixes you were. No amount of mental gymnastics will change that. If you want people to stop pointing it out you should fix your threads name and opening statement to what you wish to discuss. Apparently you want to discuss the allocation of resources. So I’d suggest fixing your opening statement to reflect what you really want.

Pretty sure a billion dollar company can afford to fund the art team and bug fixers. But I’m sure some random stranger on the Internet will help them get their priorities straight.

/s Just in case it wasn’t obvious enough.

This just goes back to the above section where I pointed out you didn’t understand how bug fixing works. They’re dealing with old bugs that require different fixes from the previous versions and all brand new ones.

Just because the game itself is based on vanilla doesn’t mean it’s being ran from the same exact software/hardware as vanilla was in the past. The newer version has significant changes under the hood and the fixes they used in the past won’t always work the same way on the newer setup.

From what I heard once some chick told me I was the biggest she’d ever seen. Funny thing about word of mouth, unless they have facts to back it up it’s all nonsense.

Link me to a site that confirms double the count and has the facts to prove it, otherwise it’s just a waste of finger movements.

So now you’re an expert on the bugs you’re seeing? Why not offer to help blizzard fix their game by creating detailed bug reports in the proper section with word for word detail on how to fix it.

Surely it won’t be that hard, as you said the bugs are less complicated than the layering ones. Maybe their bug fix team is just missing you, the one who will teach them all how to do their job properly.

Another excuse. Make the bug fixes happen now.

Prepare to face your own consequences then. Still waiting on those fixes.

Did you not read anything I posted? I’m the author of at least 2 major threads involving bug reports and I’ve posted or given evidence on plenty of others

If by expert you mean I played vanilla then sure I’m an expert

you ever try to fix a bug in a program even remotely the size of wow? without breaking everything else of course.

Yeah dude, you’re totally right! They should get the art team to learn to code so they can fix classic wow’s bugs. Good plan! Someone get this guy an award.

You said artists need to fix bugs.

But you can’t do it yourself, and when confronted, you run to Blizzard, the very ones who you’re complaining about. That’s hypocritical and cowardice right there.

Art team - does not fix bugs
Billing and accounts team - does not fix bugs
customer support team - does not fix bugs
Development team - does not fix bugs *but does implement the fix and will send back if it breaks something else
QA teams for other versions of the game - does not fix bugs

Then go back to those bug reports and tell them how to fix them so they can serve you better. Not sure why you’re expecting them to do it when you have the answers.

You said the bugs were less complicated than a previous one. The only way you could possibly know that is if you had some expertise in the field that handles bug fixing.

Earlier you also wanted to talk about how blizzard should allocate their resources and business priorities.

From the sounds of it you seem to have lots of answers to the issues that’s plaguing them. Instead of sitting here expecting them to solve all these difficult things, why don’t you just help them since you seem to know so much?

He can’t. I made him upset.

But now he at least knows how the Devs and other peeps at Blizzard feel when peeps say “fix this” without any thought to procedures and talents.

That’s marketing’s job :stuck_out_tongue:

You got me.

This won’t work because the forum mods are too busy designing murloc pets.

I just took a break from this quest I was working on. Something about collecting murloc fins and such. I think there’s a conspiracy.

My God… they’ve got us players working on pets too!

Think he wants the AQ Phase already.

What does one thing have to do with the other?

That’s how they mass produce the murloc pets in retail. They have classic sweat shops yo. Those fins have made thousands of finduins.

I’ve done everything I can do to help them, it’s their decision to act or not

Also, Blizzard’s source code is proprietary and secret, but by all means if they want to post the core on Github I’m sure the community and I would be more than happy to help them fix the issues plaguing the game.

We’d probably have half of them patched overnight if this was the case. Most private servers had public server cores for feedback and patching purposes
