Only thing I wish Blizz would change with the worms, specifically in Uldum, is not have one that spawns and patrols the area around the assault bosses platform when it’s the black empire assault.

Thats Ion controlling the Worm zapping any hopes of enjoying flight away from your heart. Ion says he hates players that like flying and will make sure you know it. ZAAAAAAAPP
If true that is unfortunate. Can this be reported as a bug or is this a “feature”?
Because they were the answer to people already having flying in those zones before the WOD Pathfinder debacle.
That is especially annoying given the platform is up in the air.
Penalizing players for earning flight from a previous expansion doesn’t make sense to me.

Yeah, it was a reference to a social media post and associated memes discussing how adament the American people are about rejecting the metric system and how they’ll use literally anything else as a unit of measurement. A reporter actually used a quantity of washing machines to give their viewers some idea of scale when discussing an ongoing story.

This sounds like a win-win to me!
And this is why the new devs don’t respect player time invested in previous expansions or even the work of the old dev team. Very strange to feel like the devs are engaging in a struggle against their own player base but it is clear as day or seems to me.
Worms gonna zap, that’s just science.
Those worms are nothing but garbage.
I guess if Blizz resorts to debuffing people on ground mounts with the great worm maybe they are desperate to boost time played haha?

My favorite was getting zapped flying up the side of the pyramid in Ulduum where the aircraft are. I was skimming the side trying to complete a quest. It was awesome!
I have been one-shot (like, killed outright) while flying low enough to see the undersides of trees and those little pillars up by the Suckit Wastes. They turn me purple all the time while I’m standing on the ground fishing in the river north of Ramakhen. They’re why I sometimes go for the skybox when going to and from Ramakhen, because they fly at a specific layer and no one cared that the ground got very close to that layer because when they were first introduced, everywhere was within range before they more than halved the worms’ range.
Yeah there are a couple of the worms in uldum that fly so low they can zap you even if your touching the ground (though should note if you are on the ground, you dont get the debuff - you just turn purple for a few moments). Really quite lame, I mean whats the point whats the point? Am i flying too high for you blizzard??

Agree op. But they are avoidable. The trick I use, is by not not doing the devs stupid 8.3 corruption bs gimmick content
