There’s a big difference between the two.
It’s always funny to see a dps complain about no tanks or healers when they play a class that can heal or tank. It’s easier to complain than it is to fix the issue.

So you are telling me the OP who stated they dislike most facets of the game would suddenly love killing 10 boars every day because some pixels on his screen are different. I’m going to disagree entirely with that.
Yes, you probably don’t know this because you didn’t play then, but TBC introduced player controlled flight and the above-quoted text clearly showcases that feature.

When you level, you necessarily play through whatever content you’re leveling in.
I’m also “So over it”. I dragged myself through tedious content for months just so I could make a Valpera. Well, I have a Valpera mage and played her to 70 and I’m sick of the race already. Really regretting all the time I spent (wasted) just to find out Valpera is just a re-skinned Goblin, UGH! They wont fool me again.

my Hand of A’dal and Champion of the Naaru titles disagree with your opinion that I didn’t play during TBC.
…and i did the drake grind 3 times while the content was current.
There’s nothing on the box which says you need to quest to get the drakes.
…which is why I was using it as an example.
leveling through a couple of zones isn’t the same thing as experiencing an expansion and all it has to offer.
Raids present a challenge, rep grinds present nothing but mindless, mundane tasks that do no contribute to anything but boredom, zero lore or immersion.
As far as “pay to win” I am saying nothing in this game is or can be pay to win.
Also They aren’t a “skin”. They have their own racials, lore, etc. And btw I just unlocked them. And that grind was just as much BS before I got it as it is now. Vold and Zanda are basically almost done too. Still not the point. What a garbage system! If they were going to lock them let it be under a mythic raid, something that presents a challenge. Not some dumb a** fortnight of a rep grind.

Well then stop making idiotic comparisons between TBC and BfA. It just makes you look ignorant.
AR was the single most heavily advertised “feature” of BfA and unlike any prior class or race, they were not offered as basline. If you think that is in any way comparable to the Netherwing farm in TBC you need to have your head examined.

and what about the raids with reps tied to them?
well that’s just not true at all.
people pay to get carried to pvp ranks, or to achievements/mounts etc.
rep grind for drakes wasn’t mentioned on the box.
rep grind for races wasn’t mentioned on the webpage.
how can you not see the similarity there?
it was no secret that the game needed to be played in order to access allied races.
there was nothing which claimed you could simply purchase the product and log in with one.
I’d be down for that! Seriously raids are challenging but I get to PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS. Dailys suck because you are alone the whole time. MMO, c’mon man.
as far as winning in PVP i dont know anything about that. Nor would I EVER consider it. As far as mounts, that’s not winning anything. Mounts do nothing for you that the others already provided dont already give you.
