It can be a little tedious, but make sure you run all the rep stuff on mission tables too. If I remember right mag’har is honorbound rep?
I agree that the rep is silly for the races though, and I have seen a few people interested in the game until they realize they have to grind for the race they want to play.
Personally I’d be fine if races were unlocked entirely from old expansions once new one is out, same with pathfinder. Save the achievements to get the mounts.
Literally this guy is a bum, wawawawawa this game wont let me play things I want to play because I have to play the game…
Also literally check the forums, check wowhead and a quick google search and you find out the “work” you have to put in.
Literally delete this post you look like a chump
Ya I think getting Honored should have been enough to unlock the race, revered for some other special item, and exalted for an Epic Mount or Gear Set or weapon. I go on YT and Youtubers that are long time WoW subs and fans agree with me. Nixxiom has said it. Asmongold has said it. Tons of them have said “too much grind, too little reward”. It’s not just me it’s a lot of people, DEDICATED people.
I agree with you Eightpeaks, it was a rotten dirty thing they did to advertise new races then twist the knife and make it ugly. We ALL should have been able to make the new races on day 1. Personally, I might stick around out of boredom (been here 14 years) but I will never again buy their expansions unless they seriously change their ways.
Good luck friend
Allied races are a reward for people who played the game/content when it was current, should have played BFA when it first came out and you would have got exalted long before they even added them in. Same with legion, I was exalted with the legion rep before they added in the allied races.
Nope, no more I’m done with this crap grinding. Lol
So you think it’s okay that when you buy a product you have to go to a third party for your info? The only “chump” here is you. The chump that gets walked on by the people pocketing his money. What a tool!
A yesman incapable of looking at the inherit flaws of the system… Pretty typical.
I’ll never understand spineless brand loyalty.
I am not the bum crying about a video game, because you didn’t get what you wanted. This game has been out for 15 years and has multiple alleys to find out information. That is your fault. I understand if this was the release of BFA but its been out for more than a year. This complaining has been going on since day one. You aren’t special.
I am not a chump I enjoy this game and have for years. Yes some things suck but the good out weigh the bad. I don’t play to make allied races. I haven’t unlocked any of them because I don’t care, they add no value to my player experience.
You complain about the most minuscule thing about this game.
How am I a yes man? I play this game to raid and M+ not to unlock races. I don’t play this game for that aspect. Actually playing the game unlocks things. I don’t need to rush right when I hit 120 to unlock a new race.
Brand loyalty? You came back found out you had to actually play this game and now you are complaining like a little girl who didn’t get her way.
No I dont because others seem to agree. The races go into the whole problem with the last expansion, grind. Mindless grind which is supposed to supplement for the lore, writing, challenge, and overall experience. Cutting content and corners through a superficial bar with the label “Exalted” on it.
You clearly got triggered by him calling the system bad. How is that not a yesman? The allied race system as designed is designed to milk old players(and increasing cash shop revenue) instead of encouraging new players. If you cant see the negative effects from such a system I dont think it would matter what bad thing blizzard does as long as you have the desired carrot in front of you.
I am complaining product was not as advertised, that the game is not a game through the grind, presents no challenge in the grind as the game should have had in it’s stead. I didn’t “come back” I am a first time consumer. Get glasses bud. If this was a car I wouldnt be going to auto zone to figure out what the details of my car were. I’d be getting that info straight from the place I bought it from.
Endless grind? Is this your first MMO? From day one this game has been out has been out grinding in some way shape or form.
With emissarys and WQs and quests you could have your allied races in probably 2-3 weeks. Also you had to do this in legion as well for allied races. This is not new.
this game was like crack. now it’s those little pieces of soap that just look like crack.
If he played like an addict. And then has to restart at level 20 and level all over again, and grind things out all over again… This is F2P game design that you are ok with.
Lovely I gotta spend 2-3 weeks doing a grind before I get what I paid for. I thought I did enough for a SKIN with the 1-120, plus all the side things I did getting to that point. You don’t seem to see this through the eyes of a consumer, just a religious nut.
Its a business dum dum, of course they are going to try and drive new people and make them actually play their game.
There is no negative side effects, its an MMO you grind every MMO has grinding for some thing wether its gear, levels, mounts, allied races. You name it.
This is nothing new.
