they can just lower the difficulty.
Working in Comp Sci though and the level of tools that exist to catch bugs. They can do and can afford to pay their devs more / hire or automate testing / increase patch cadence to put out a better working product.
Current bugs are breaking fundamental game progression across systems.
Yes but youre never going to be able to get the first impression again which is the point
your first impression is not in a rank 1?
Why is it someone has to be obtuse about a new players experience. They sold this End Game Pillar Solo Content to gain a market share. Theyve pretty much killed the push out of the gate
How can they put out something that breaks the LOG IN? I mean…what are we supposed to think? I seriously want my money back. It’s ridiculous.
We sure about that? Others are clearing these on 8s and it is the highest challenge between 5 and 8.
I’d think it would take more Brann levels and more gear, as the gear caps at 8.
Keep in mind that 0s are actually 10s. Dawnbreaker sucks major booty no matter what level, though. And Grim Batol sucked back then, so I can only imagine how much it sucks now. I’m sorry you went through that hell.
I don’t think it’s necessarily skill. It think it’s beginning of season. This all needs to last an entire season. With more gear, it’ll get easier.
But…
if people are overgeared for 0s and they’re still wiping groups, then yes, that needs looked at. I agree.
It’s all good guys.
We’ll actually have classes and perhaps some of the game will be mostly functioning come November.
Y’know. The normal release time for the beta we are currently in.
More gear will solve the issue, but then what, am I expected to be 610 to do a M0? because that’s what it is right now. My main is 595, that’s gear appropriate and guess what, it’s OVERTUNED.
Really? You have cost vs revenue numbers for the product? Just curious, what is the net profit for the product after costs and what percentage of that profit does Blizzard have to pass up to Activision / Blizzard and Microsoft?
Without that information we have no idea what they can and can’t afford.
The first and last boss are just insane. So much AoE damage, having to roll healer CD’s on every ability basically to barely keep people going lol
Not brand new, its 10 years old based on worse spaghetti code than WOW, but yes, newer.
How do you know it’s spaghetti code?
That’s actually public info from the shareholder meeting as well as first hand account of former employees - we know they are way underpaid.
And this is why I put this in big letters that I’m guessing you just didn’t read?
Because its based on the original FF14, which was badly coded from the beginning. Theyve been quite open about the history of 14.
Via the developers and discussions of its limitations. It is especially an issue with character models.
Some things were made willy nilly.
the truth is that a lot of casuals will get weeded out today. they were the ones crying on the forums and reddit about people rushing in heroic, and now they trying harder content, expecting to be carried through it like heroic and hitting a wall.
check back in a few weeks they should be gone hopefully.
but some things are far overtuned if blizzard wants casuals to be able to play past heroic dungeons
Could be Blizzard or it could be a gear or skill issue. Difficult to know without witnessing the issue firsthand. Game feels fun to me but you said this is a mythic0 issue? And i’m just sitting here farming delves atm.
The revenue and cost number for Blizzard as a company may be public but are you sure they are public for the WoW product? It’s one of many. As for former employees complaining about being underpaid, that would be a biased sample. What about the employees that are still there, do they think they are underpaid?
