How you draw the conclusion that he’s giving Blizz money given the statement below is incomprehensible. Macharius farms gold to pay for his sub and would continue to do so even if the WoW Token on the AH went up to 500K. He’s not giving Blizz a sub fee or buying Tokens from the cash shop.
So it’s interesting that you somehow take that as giving Blizz more money. He’s giving Blizz his time (which helps their MAU I guess, but it’s not cold hard cash).
