I'm bored with Dragonflight. And WoW in general

If you are just burnt out, leave WoW for awhile and rest. Then return.

There is a massive content in front of you btw… but it involves grouping… it’s called Dungeons, Raid or PvP. If you dislike this massive content and you are bored to stuffs you do right now, maybe you are just in a wrong game. You should be having fun.

Many of us who are still busy playing are into this massive content. We love Dungeons and Raid. At least on me, I am having a blast.

A bit, but I ran four characters thru Beta before live, so its my fault for it happening this early.
Love the content though. Just needing a bit of a break from the overload.

This is why I’m playing classic vanilla again. I still play DF but classic is still awesome.

You must not be that bored… if you took the time to view them and respond.

Just saying :relieved:

“I don’t care for threads like this one, but I do care for taking the time to read it and write a reply in which I will tell you all that I indeed don’t care for it at all!”

Not at all  It doesn’t look like you got too far past 380 iLevel and I was there in the first two weeks of Dragonflight, so maybe it’s more about giving up before you even began? You also didn’t run any M+ with the exception of the +3 and you can’t feel the power of your class or role unless you put in SOME sort of effort…

An effort will take away that feeling of boredom and also connect with people on WoW whom you can learn and grow with! Maybe it is more of a mental thing than anything else.

Love that for him.

I’m not burned out but I’m just not interested in it at all. Imo DF is so boring in almost every aspect, and has been since I saw the announce cinematic. I haven’t even reached lvl 70 on any character yet. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Idk if it’s bc SL like, ruined the game for me, or if DF is genuinely not that interesting. Probably a mix of both? Idk. Maybe I’ll be more interested later. For now all I’m waiting for is more trading post things/more heritage sets/ more customizations!!

Yup. Hella bored

well, decades from now when youre on your deathbed, I guarantee you wont look back and say “man, I’m so glad I burned 500 hours of my life on Dragonflight patch #1 and even when I got really bored and had other things I could do, I just kept on playing!”.

I’m bored with this topic, and totally burned out from it, just saying.

What does this mean ? It looks like ancient Sumerian.

Once I got KSM I kind of stopped wanting to play

I hate how this expansion was somewhat marketed as a “less busy” expansion, but it literally just seems like there is less content and less things to do, and the 4 or 5 things to do/grind out either feel horrible or you just get burnt out on them in a couple hours. And on top of that we are already heading into a content drought with seasons looking to last 6ish months, not looking too great as far as I am concerned. Unless something fun/new pops up in 10.1+ im just going to be taking a break and logging in to test class changes occasionally.

Some people do not enjoy M+ - I’m not bashing you js just because someone is lower ilvl and has only done a +3 doesnt mean they haven’t put in effort to try to enjoy the game, in most cases it just means the endgame game grind is not very appealing in its current state as it is in my case.

Don’t you know? You’re not a real WoW player these days unless you’re raiding, doing competitive PvP or running M+.

And yet, here I am. Playing WoW.

Burnout is a thing. No shame in it.

Not sure how this relates at all to my post or the series of posts it was responding to.

But good for you?

Burnout and Boredom aren’t the same thing.

still gone

That is a pretty sad truth. As someone who has played this game forever, aside from the first year it was out, I am 100% attached to this game. I haven’t let it negatively affect my life in probably the past 7 years or so but before then it definitely did. And I too know people who are/were worse off than me. I would reiterate your last point there - this game in any form whether it is fun for me, for you, for whoever, is a giant time sink and it 100% can and will affect your efforts in real life.
