Every time I am unlucky enough to 1v1 a Rogue in a BG it never ceases to amaze me how impossible they are to kill all the while infinitely controlling you. Thank god they are finally losing Shadowy Duel now how about remove a few of their 4 vanishes

Night elf rogues have an extra vanish with shadowmeld. Makes it 3 not 4 lol

Sorry but Shadowy duel is not a good spell. I donât even use it even though I have it talented. Youâll be dealing with a 4 second disarm every 45 seconds now⌠which is great because its more OP and far more useful. A LOT shorter of a cooldown too. Get over it.

You can at least trinket a disarm if you had to. Duel has no legit counter-play once youâre in it.

Disarm is a way bigger threat. Especially to death knight.

In a 1v1 situation perhaps, but duel is cc when used defensively. Poof, youâre straight up gone. Very powerful when used strategically, and this is the bg forum, after all.

In RANDOM battlegrounds its overpowered. Elsewhere, definitely not. 2 minute cooldown that can be semi-negated by a 30 second cooldown by most classes.

Yes, they are removing duel and physical cloak. Two talents that should have never existed.
Next step: nerf the interaction of Shadowmeld with stealth classes, so they can use it to dodge CC like everybody else, but not to restealth.

Put a dot up, meld breaks on damage.

it wont break fast enough 99.99% of the time, meld gets used immediately into stealth and with that they get access to all talent synergies, so sure if u break the stealth it stops them from running off maybe, but in a situation where they are using it offensively you have 0.01 seconds to break that meld before they can stealth.

I see this problem differently, and that being not meld or stealth, but that there are other bigger problems added to the game over time to give training wheels to stealth, but there are problems like this with every single class in this game right now being that the designers, or lack there of donât understand what makes for good game play in PVP.
Top all this off with that most players are cheating in some format if you consider the rules of addons and macros and scrips are not suppose to in any way shape or form automate play, but there are quite a lot of things that do this in a âlegalâ way even if its antithetical to the spirit of the game.
Taking the ban hammer to game automation of any sort, to lower the skill floor of the game way way way way down and kill off âperfect playâ so that actual skill can shine again would be a massive step in the correct direction.
Additionally nerfing the dogcrap out of training wheels mechanics that hand hold, things like DoTâs not breaking break on damage effects or dumb crap of that past like Sheep clears DoTs, etc. All these so called âQuality of lifeâ things are harming the game.
There are even Grace periods on soft CCâs so that they dont instant break on damage; eliminate all this trash and the game would instantly be a lot more enjoyable to play even if the bad players would suffer quite a lot in this situation, but then everyone can be bad together and only the R1âs (I am not) would be the only to shine ever so bright.

That is rogue, if all rogue abilities are removed, better call them peasant.
Rogues have nearly always been Gods in PvP, nothing will change even if they take out some of their abilities other classes would lose something to compensate.
Best to not get annoyed if you lose to a rogue, its like taking candy from a baby for them, especially for players that are actually good at video games.

How? Unles shadowmeld cleared your dots, you use it and then stealth just to come out of it because most likely youâll have dots on you
They the single most broken class in game and have been for 15 years now. No other class has so many âget out of jail freeâ cards, no other class has so many escapes and ways to literally reset any fight, more CC, more stupid levels of mobility and speed (even while effing cloaked), more counters, more chances always get the first blow in, most ways to take multiple players out if a fight AND ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT, Cloak of effing SkillâŚ
This is why anyone, anyone tries tell me âhey man have you seen (insert streamer here) or do you know (insert random rogue player name here) ? They are really good rogues.â
I shake my head and laugh because i know there are no good rogues. Only players that rely on broken mechanics and cheap skills to even try to compete.
If you play a rogue, you arent good. Youre just a bad player that needs a class made for handicap people just to compete.

It was soooo bad when i afk now i need to be in flight form AWAY from any possible rogue attackâŚ
