They will be able to clear. They will struggle on Vashj due to the nature of P2 but legit everything else falls over. KT is just making sure everyone picks up their weapons but then the fight is over.
I did 3 PTR clears. 2x ret, 1 Spriest. It was a cakewalk every single time.
People on PTR are usually more willing/motivated and better in general, they also have the opportunity to be full BIS from the previous phase. Personnally I have some doubts but we will see how it translate on live servers.
At least for me, when I say that I pug I specifically mean I am looking for established groups who are needing my class. A full pug pug is actually quite rare even when looking in LFG and at least for me, I stay as far away from them as possible.
Idk I think people are overestimating how difficult post-nerf t5 is. 2 of the 3 of my PTR runs half the raid was doing sub 850 dps on classes with the availability of full bis and full consumes. These aren’t some crazy top 1% parsers going into the PTR. These are people who are creating 70s on the PTR of classes they’ve probably never played and just filling slots to at least get into a raid group and just see the bosses.
This isnt to say you’re just gonna 1 shot everything ofc people will have to see mechanics. But I mean 3-4 weeks into the phase every boss aside from Vashj and idk MAYBE KT is going to be a walk in and kill. Trash is probably the hardest thing in here and thats not even difficult just annoying.
I don’t think t5 is hard, I just know how bad the average player is. The fact that your group knew how to get into the ptr in the first place is enough to know you aren’t dealing with the average player.
T5 for most groups ya is going to be an easy clear with the hiccups being the last bosses obv. Vashj more so than KT
