I’m sorry, I dont recall the DRIVE feature in any past expansion. Nor is what is effectively a double boss rush mode being added next patch.

you know, if you’re this sour about the state of the game, you don’t have to play. what’s keeping you here? i think the majority of players enjoy D.R.I.V.E. it’s unique gameplay for WoW, and feels nicer than a regular ground mount in a few ways imo.
like dragonriding vs regular flying, there are upsides to both. but more options = good.
If I wanted to play mario kart, I’d break out the SNES.
DRIVE is also just another escalation of their war on flying.
cry more tbh. flying was kind of a mistake from a technical, social, and storytelling standpoint. nobody’s forcing you to use D.R.I.V.E., you can just. not. so why complain about a completely optional feature that other players enjoy?

and sometimes i don’t. i like using my ground mounts from time to time lol. see how that works? humans have this funny little thing called agency.
