I'll say it again - JUSTICE FOR PALADINS

Vanilla was just a largely unfinished game and all the cut content and abilities is all the source you really need to know. They just developed this model of ‘fix it in an expac’ in the past because, well, it makes money.

They were getting lucky until it came back to bite them.

(Turtle WoW did the opposite, and thats why people like playing it)

You can say whatever you’d like, but we all know that some people prefer Classic as it was, and the idea that, “You think you do,” is a slap in the face to those who really, really do.

Yes, they are and have made some changes, and some people seem to say they are happy with some of them, and some want more.

I don’t think we have any clear definitive right answer to peoples’ preferences, so we can argue our own, but that’s just subjective opinion at this point.

Is it? There certainly seem to be a lot of the loud, noisy, complainers who want things their way or they will MAKE A LOT OF NOISE that have come back to these forums from SoD. And they’ve been given dual spec, and people say they are happy with that.

I’d like some #FewerChanges or #RemoveTheChanges type servers, but that doesn’t seem to be happening from this generation of Classic devs.

It would not surprise me if they do start tuning classes around raid log data for Anniversary realms. Maybe after they give experience buffs.

It is not

With this logic TBC, Wrath, Cata, etc… Are all even less complete.

You have no idea what you’re talking about you weird troll.

I’ll say it again.

JUSTICE FOR PALADINS!

We also all know that number is dwindling slowly. And there’s a lot of bad faith actor’s in that conversation to the point where you could make the assumption someone main’s Warrior and… You would probably not be wrong assuming it, 8/10 times.

Everyone has a some kind of bias in what version they want. Or some motive they’re not really willing to say. I just want better class design balance and if I’m going to be entirely honest, I like TBC’s art direction.

‘Go play Retail’ or ‘Go play SOD’ just doesn’t cut it anymore. The direction the dev’s are going speaks for itself. So yeah, you think you do but - why do you really?

Dunno how you came to that conclusion but, wild.

And SoD is Blizzard’s attempt to make those changes to Vanilla. So knock yourself out over there.

This is Classic fresh, not SoD fresh.

“Crudlord: weird troll”

LOLL

Sod rejects are so cute

Everyone is free to pretty much ignore Zaalg. He pops up in the forums during any sort of fresh release, complains, pretends to know things and then he just instantly quits the game until the next release. Likely after he lost a roll in stockades or what have you

You believe that there are bad actors in the conversation about what? What people want in the game that we all play? Does this mean you believe that people are advocating for things they don’t actually want, just to troll others?

I suppose that’s possible, but it’s not something that I’ve given much consideration, nor is it the type of worldview I would wish to have, personally.

That’s quite the statement. Thank you for sharing your perspective.

Just don’t cut what anymore?

I suppose this may be the case. It does seem that they are catering to noisy complainers who want to be loud and ad hominem others, while getting “QoL” features they say they want. And maybe they do…

Well, personally, I opted out of SoD, and muted the forums, because it’s not a community I want anything to do with. I don’t support the devs in what they are doing, and I certainly do not support the community they have cultivated that play it. I suppose what you are saying is that that is the exact same community that those same devs are catering to for anniversary realms, and that I probably shouldn’t play them either.

Well, not really no. I don’t want the changes. I don’t like them. I like the way the game was, not so much is. But at least Retail has solved all the problems that anyone who wants any of the QoL features would have, so… I suppose it’s retail and/or pservers and I’ve never been a pserver player, so…

‘This is Classic Fresh’

  • Buff/Debuff limit removed
  • Forced Faction Balance
  • Basically, TBC waiting room
  • LFG Tool
  • Dual Spec (you are here)

I’m probably missing some things but yeah, welcome to #SomeChanges. That argument doesn’t hold water anymore.

Also there’s better versions of ‘SoD’ I’d rather play.

Sounds like SoD would be a better option for you…

Because near 100% of raid content and dungeon content of “Vanilla” is fully obsolete when you have TBC.

Because Vanilla content and TBC content is obsolete when you have Wrath, and so on.

Its not a complicated topic.

You think paladin is bad, but its not; paladin is a good class and while its Raid contributions in Vanilla typically are in the form of healing. Paladin itself is a very good class in respect to Dungeons, World and PVP where “Vanilla” is basically balanced around.

Only a total FOOL fails to see that Raid is not the focus of Vanilla.

Where did I say Paladin is bad? Where did I say Raid is the focus of Vanilla verbatim?

Only a total fool projects.

To be fair, there’s a lot of changes in Era, and although many of them have sort of snuck in over the years, Cezar still refers to it as Vanilla.

I wouldn’t call that being a bad actor, I’d call it more being a frog in a pot, while the water is getting warmer and warmer.

And now, there are even more changes being pushed onto Classic realms, and people seem to look to Era and think that’s the baseline. Well it isn’t. That’s already a ton of changes, and maybe that’s already gone too far.

The changes that they are making do seem to be focused around funneling people to max-level to focus on raiding as the primary content, and that isn’t really something that I would opt to play Classic for, specifically.

Maybe if they offer some fewer changes realms at some point, I’ll pop back into Classic, but I think I’m pretty much out for now. Thanks for helping bring to light that there are a ton of changes already, and none that I actually like personally. So, why would I support that?

Justice for peanut was delivered. He was a neglected, kidnapped animal kept by a person using him to advertise his only fans where he would perform gross acts in public stores. Peanut had friggin metabolic bone disease, something practically unheard of among mammals because of how awful his diet was. Dude was using him as a publicity stunt and you fell for it. GG.

Are you mental? Druid is great at melee DPS, very good off-tank, and excellent healer.
