Excellent guild full of excellent people! 10/10 do recommend! They have tons of role play events and wonderful story arcs with great opportunities for character interactions and developments.

Good morning,

I am very interested in joining the guild after reading through the website and this post.

The only problem is I planned to roll a DI Warlock, which does not seem to fit with the concept of the guild at all.

Your story seems interesting enough for a guy like me ( 20 years experience as a dungeon and dragon DM ) that I would consider rolling something else but I have not seen a strict restriction on classes.

So, if a Warlock, or a death knight, for example was to use their power to further the interest of the guild, would they be allowed?

We do have death knights, for sure! We get this question fairly often and the big and formal response is:

“If your character has A) reason to support, and defend Alliance interests in the south, B) is willing to work beside a fellowship of other Knights, and C) is able to keep evil tendencies restrained (draining the souls of the dead/torturing people willy nilly/corrupting the nearby land and people, then they could very well fit nicely in with the Circle.”

Our whole guild is entirely focused on story, so that’s the critical part for recruitment.

Not every character has to be the idealized “do-good” paladin or warrior or whatever, but we are a chivalric order. Our members are expected to operate with honor and loyalty to the Alliance (and to each other, as stated in the induction oaths).

That being said, a moderate amount of IC conflict can be expected if you have a character that actively summons demons and keeps them around, as most characters probably wouldn’t be fond of it regardless of how loyal your character is to the cause (especially those who have personally experienced the horrors of the Legion).

IC will always be kept IC, and we encourage the RP, but just keep in mind the general public opinion and you should be golden!

The Circle just wrapped up another storyline, this time helmed by another one of our members; Richard! While I’ve been sucked away into the hell of real world obligations, I’ve heard great things, and I’m also excited for the next and upcoming stories to get rolling as well!

Guild Leader Vanforth is an awesome, generous person. The planning and dedication he puts in to the details of a guild and its story are commendable.

Finally after careful consideration, I would like to enter apply for the guild with Inyitaroth ( This character ) a Lightforged warrior instead of a warlock. I find that there is better RP possibilities with him instead of just being conflictual most of the time.

I’m one of the admins that can pull you in! Mostly finished working up the major details for our upcoming summer storyline which will take the Circle into some new, and quite strange territories.

Most recently, leading up and into it, players found an ancient Gurubashi stone tablet in the jungles near our outpost, which was shattered by mortar fire during a battle. Because the members are all nutjobs, they’ve taken to piecing the one hundred and thirteen fragments back together, intent on revealing the “kind of a prophecy” text, wrapped around the edges, as well as the contents of the carvings themselves.

This is their progress thus far, and more of it will be revealed as they get closer and closer!

Our wondrous leader, Livi, did some awesome work on the final art piece - which I’m super excited to finally unveil once they complete the tablet. Every day, members have been allowed to roll /113 once, to see if they can fit any new pieces together; it’s been a very slow process, but we’re moving closer and closer each day!

Soooo excited for that tablet to be finished. I can’t wait to start the story!

In the meantime, we have some other short storylines in the works to keep us occupied through Spring. Stay tuned!

We’re going to have a small beach day on the 16th-- just a casual hangout. Anyone who wants to join-- or has just joined and is now getting settled-- might find it prudent to attend! It should be a great way to socialize and meet some of the people in our guild ICly (and we’ll have OOC games and stuff, too!)
