To me, it almost looks like adding another “race” is just Blizz trying to throw more stuff at the playerbase to keep them from bailing when the total blowup of classes and specs goes live.

I’m not excited for them because I will

  1. never pay for a race change
  2. be done levelling characters, especially after Remix

Maybe in like a BFA Remix event or something I’ll swap.

Probably about the same. Think Kul Tiran are around 1.5% of characters, I doubt they will be that popular.

Besides being the 3rd Race that will reuse the skeleton of the Nelves, they went even further in stealing the plot of the world trees. They are literally what the Night Elves were in Warcraft 3. A reclusive people who protected nature and were forced to expose themselves due to problems in the outside world. The only thing that sets them apart are the tattoos. To me, Xe’ra’s phrase sums up who got excited about this.

Worth noting for the people that think Druids will inflate the Haranir numbers, Kul Tiran have Druids, and exceptionally unique and cool looking Druid forms. It didn’t quite help them.

They also had ugly ladies, if Night Elves weren’t a core race that’ve been in the game for years and even predate Blood Elves from TBC, I think they’d be just as desolate given… gestures to male Night Elves only having one not-old man face the females really carry the species hard. Unfortunately Kul’tiran men are what sinks or swims the Kul’tiran boat.
