That’s a lot of words to say that you lack the emotional maturity and basic common sense necessary to admit that you didn’t know something.
Sweetie, I’m not the one struggling with the definition of this word.
When you said “99% of the problem,” you were using hyperbole. When someone pointed out that you were exaggerating, you explained yourself by saying:
Instead of just saying that you were using hyperbole, which is what your word salad was trying to communicate.
Had you understood that “hyperbole” was the word for what you were doing, you could have just said that without erroneously suggesting that hyperbole is used in the context of the legal profession.
You aren’t helping yourself by doubling and tripling down. I hope at some point you gain the emotional maturity to understand that admitting you made an error doesn’t make you a bad person and decent people will respect your ability to admit you didn’t know something. In the meantime, you should at least endeavor to have enough common sense to realize when you are only going to keep digging yourself in deeper and your best bet is to just have a seat.
It’s not my fault you lack basic common sense and cannot understand how things operate. So i do not expect much from you. All i can say is i tried
You should stop while you’re behind.
first it was gdkp is gold buying. now it’s gdkp promotes it. is this WoW science? is it going to constantly evolve? is this “gold theory” what’s next… the big gold-bang?
What is it that you believe that I do not understand about the way things operate?
Please be specific.
I can explain precisely what you don’t/didn’t understand.
You didn’t understand what the word “hyperbole” means. This is why when you were trying to explain that you were being hyperbolic and didn’t literally mean that 99% of the problem could be solved, you lacked the proper vocabulary and so you called it a “gimmick” and your explanation was awkward and barely coherent.
You also don’t understand how the practice of law works because your only exposure to it is through movies and television. That’s why you erroneously believed that hyperbole is a tactic often used in the legal field.
Now you try. Be specific about what you think I do not understand.
Of course you are also anti-science.
No alternative is required. Join a guild. You just have to be okay with not being absolutely distraught if you don’t receive a reward for every single raid you partake in. If you can’t commit to a guilds raid times l despite being a gdkper that was probably raiding on 7 different toons a week then I would say you’re straight up lying. Noone has any sympathy for gold buyers or people who’ve profited off of gold buyers the entirety of classics life span.
Another out of context assumption. I adore science. Your education is showing xD
clueless take, gdkp doesnt inflate gold, gold buyers do.
If you think banning gdkps does anything to inflation when people buy gold and are not getting ban you just naive.
Soda bought 50k gold from third party website spend it on his guild and didnt got suspended for even a day, btw none of that gold went into a gdkp.
I guess we just don’t fix anything if we can’t fix it completely all at once.
good analogy would be a guy printing a bunch of counterfeit money, then spending it at an Auction and the police busting in letting the guy go and making auctions illegal.
GDKPs were completely in line with ToS they are now banned.
Gold buying is against the ToS and people are not getting suspended for it at all even if proven guilty.
Oh honey, you can stop projecting your issues onto others. No one is convinced. Not even you.
Oh honey, that was never a thing. Why do you lie so much?
And more lies about people assuming things…right after you finished lying about what I’ve posted. Also lying about adoring science.
Your lack of education is showing.
When you keep replying to detailed critiques of your poor behavior without specifics, your replies come across as nothing more than, “I know you are but what am I?”
You are projecting and it’s just sad.
im 99% sure what were looking at here is a wrath or era 5x (or more) a week gdkp runner who was living off selling the gold income from org cuts.
the brokenish English and being this unreasonably mad about a thing in a video game being removed, that was conveniently also a thing that could be used to generate enough income to live on even in the US is just too sus
You aren’t being “awarded” it though. It’s a semantic argument, but give an inch and people will take a mile. As someone already pointed out, what about items? They said they can track similar things, but I would assume they wouldn’t have access to everything players will come up with to circumvent it.
Not to mention, ticket runs and GDKPs are fundamentally different with a similar, but probably a slightly less impactful way of selling gear to others for gold. Either way, it would be nice to have Blizzard also clarify it so that people don’t argue for that wiggle room or catch a ban for something they legitimately thought was a viable alternative.

this isnt a court, blizz doesnt have to play semantics. they can just slap you with a ban if they so choose.

true, due to the lack of bidding on the spot, presales will not generate as much gold as open bids on item drops. but why would blizz leave that untouched while going after gdkps
my guess is they will interpret this policy very broadly and bans will get handed out for buying ticket runs as well, although it may admittedly be harder to detect, we just dont know yet.
GDKPs by itself I think are fine if gold buying wasn’t a thing. But anyone who thinks GDKPs doesn’t contribute in some way to gold buying and having an impact on “WoW inflation” is just silly.
I do wish Blizzard would focus stopping the gold farming/buying though. I personally know some people who got suspended for two weeks for gold buying in SoD. It seems like they’re making some effort, but like I said before, I do wish more of the focus was stopping the root of the problem.
