I just had a look and honestly it did sound like an insane amount to me. Look at the website and check Arugal horde, the main oceanic wotlk server.

What I’m seeing is:

Ok I’ll accept my numbers were wrong for probably the majority of users, but the rest of the points stand about leaders earning so much they can easily sell it off. This is the reason they’re upset about GDKPs getting banned, they can no longer pay their rent off the game.

Just because people don’t check every possibility on every server when they just check their home base (typically safely) assuming the rest would be the same doesn’t make it a lie. You know, if they were running 5+ a week, and selling off the gold, seeing at least $200 per raid from it, that’s 1k a week on 5 runs. Which you could do 2 Saturday and take off Sunday for 6. Just saying
you’re right. Better than many jobs in the US.
