Myzyrm, if you think it doesn’t hide anything, why you have your profile hidden then if that’s the case? Why not make the profile public then?
Never tried ‘em. But I think I’ve seen em before. I just dig the PB mixed with chocolate as a flavor profile.

Because I can. It’s an option provided by these forums that I have chosen to make use of.
Take your problems up with Blizzard. Go grill them for justifying and enabling this “malice” lol.

That’s not even an explanation on why you don’t want it to be public.

You are:
- Not entitled to the information this hides.
- Not entitled to an explanation either.
That’s all there is to it.
You are acting like you are entitled to this and that not providing it is a malicious attack.
This is a choice placed in my hands by the design of this forum. Whether or not I make use of it and for what reasons are none of your business or concern.

I use a kettle to boil water, pour it over the oatmeal, use lemon cheesecake flavor drops, and add walnuts.
Did Blizzard ever say why they started allowing people to see all that extra info? Even I look at my stats and go “This is kinda shameful”. I would like to hide that part if it is an option while still allow for the achievements and character gear to be shown.

The true stats are what’s in your heart 
There is really no reason for that info to even be there imo. Should really be something that only shows for us by default and not connected to armory at all.
Other than poking fun at people for their viewing habits I don’t see how any person could use that info.

I legit opened in this thread by saying it’s weird to trust anyone here. You are entirely free to not trust me. I don’t need an explanation of why either. It’s just that easy.
I can use it for internal tracking but does give a lot of unnecessary info to the public. I freely admit to looking at people’s profiles but I zoom past that part. Even for someone as nosy as me, it is a step too far to view that.

Oops I thought mine was private already.
I don’t like the idea of some of the stats shown there like “last seen”… which anyone could use to track your presence with web scraping and set an alert when you’re online as well as graph a timeline for the last year activity and figure our your timezone based on active hours.
anyways, if you want to make your profile private, theres a setting called
“Hide my public profile and presence features” In the interface option of your profile settings.

So there’s no logical reason why you’ve made the choice? If so, why make the choice at all? Between all the times you’ve told me it hid nothing, (despite the fact your profile displays a giant banner of “This profile is private”) it’s strange that somebody that knows this, choice to hide it.
Can you actually be honest, or are we just going to expect you to be dishonest moving forward?
You’ve said, you find whatever type of poster OP trusts stranger then hiding their profile.

I don’t care for it either but it’s also not the biggest deal.
It’s also not a big deal to hide that information because it has no beneficial use to anyone but the user that the metrics apply to.
Yes, I wish there was just a way to see the character and the items. I don’t need the stats or ilvl for the items just the names. Seeing those hidden profiles are always so sad to me because I just want to see the hat or maybe what pants are being used to match.
