  • Borrowed Power from PvE will be totally removed from PvP.
  • Introduce a borrowed power system specifically for PvP only (ie Trinkets, Tier Sets, Set Bonus, Weapon Procs, etc).
  • PvP talents will not add new spells but modify current spells for PvP only.
  • Remove Tank deficiencies to allow any tank to become a FC via use of PvP Talents. (Stun Reduction, CC Reduction, Movement Impairing Reduction)
  • 3 Tier sets (Gold/Vendor/AH Craftable, Honor, Conquest). Tier Sets/Bonuses remain the same with each but gain power with each set upgrade.
  • Lower the damage output of healers
  • Lower the healing output of damage dealers
  • Lower Damage output of Tanks, Tanks have the active ability to absorb CC from surrounding teammates or increase damage to opponents from teammates.
  • All CC share the same DR.
  • RBG Map Rotation consists of WSG, TP, EoTS, BfG and AB maps only.

Bring back the old talent system (pre cata)

I would make a large scale PvE landscape, similar to concept of Islands but its PvP with objectives. Think more Randomly generated Lanes with objectives

That’s right I want League of Warcraft: Balance was never possible.

Just make it more original than LoL obviously.

I would also like a PvP game mode where people hunt and others try to survive until the end of the round. Even if it’s just casual no honor play, I just think the addition of random fun past time game would be nice

I think that would essentially eliminate a lot of the original PvP skill cap factors and coordination aspects of the game. Hard disagree from my side.

The better approach should be to minimize the high dmg output during active cds and shift more towards consistent dmg, remove any passives or abilities that initiate cdrs of cds, and to make class design more wholesome. The foundation shouldn’t be modified when there’s nothing wrong with it.

Disable tier sets in pvp. that’s all

Expansion borrowed power and legendaries would be disabled in pvp since all they do is create a class balance problem.
Treadmill grinds would come to an abrupt end. It’s one thing to farm a boss or dungeon for an upgrade, but farming a currency for an rng upgrade to the borrowed power system is not a welcome addition to the game.
Id hire a team, one person per class, to address their balance biweekly for both pve and pvp.
Separate tier sets for pve and pvp
Complete teardown and rebuild of classes to address creeping homogeneity, and realign with class fantasy.
Raid design idt is too bad so id leave that team alone. Overall story, well i can’t make any judgement on the new lead yet since Dragonflight will be his first full expansion as lead.
I’d make it the Social Media team’s job to report any outstanding complaints from the community, if it isn’t already, to the relevant team for investigation and correction (if needed).
And a standard length of rated pvp season. 6 months, regardless of overlap on patches :triumph:
PvP gear goes back to honor set and conquest set, without upgrade tiers. In PvE all pvp gear is set to heroic dungeon drop ilvl, in PvP it raises to mythic raid drop ilvl (10-15% power increase from honor to conquest gear)
Lastly- art team is honestly doing just fine, maybe a bit more leeway in their budget for cinematics to help bring impact to the story.

I would fix every problem with the game. As a future game designer I think blizzard designers need to go back to school because every system and idea they put in the game lacks proper analysis and tuning. Recent exemple with tier set availability. There are 100 more systems and interactions that are bugged and haven’t been fixed since launch of the expansion too. I would fix those. Must be a spaghetti code for blizzard to not fix the small bugs in the game that heavily affect gameplay.

I like the WM concept, but it just doesn’t work and needs help. As a lot of those skills are nice additions for quest it be nice if it worked.
I’m to the point that I wish blizzard would just drop the war mode and make those skills selectable 1st at 50, second at 55 and last one at 60. They should all be spells and ranged in tiers where 50 is a buff you can pick, then have spells at 55 and 60 and arrange them I. Three sets so you can’t just put the best 3 on. This could be the last little bit of customization they can give us as they homogenized all the recast.

Then bring back stats. Dungeon loot should be drop per boss and get rid of class hear bonuses. Return the original states. Let glyphs do their thing again and return gem crafting back to TBC style. No reason a Druid healer shouldn’t wear cloth if stated better. Have healing states and DPS stats on gear again. People like to feel as if they can make their (Druid healer, priest etc) different from everyone else’s character doing that job. By expanding stats, gear and small customizations you feel like you are in control and blizzard didn’t choose your path. Even if an illusion. Also I’d bring skill trees back.

I’d make night cycle as dark as inky black potion from darkmoon.
Night cycle would last significantly longer, 8pm-6am IRL.
Night cycle would be in effect in BGs/Arena

Darkmoon faire is up go buy a potion and do some bgs/hang out in duro, come back and upvote this sweet idea.

Everything else is too much hassle fix

I’d just try to simply things; avoid convoluted, tedious systems and their inevitable bandaids.

make exile’s teach people what kick is for starters
that’s a big fundamental that blizzard completely missed
also have it teach people what line of sight is and then have a channeled spell kill them behind a wall and teach them what corpse running is (saw a thread where someone didn’t understand what res sickness was and they didn’t get why random mobs were beating them into the floor; it was a level 60 player, yikes)

for pvp id hire an actual team because it’s clear to me that they don’t actually have one atm

If you suggest that all cc’s be on same dr you should literally just go PvE. You have no idea what you’re asking for.

I would rework every class and prune abilities (mostly passives) that I think is just outright toxic to the game and limit damage modifier mechanics.

So is ok for someone to be stunned 3 times in a row, then silenced, and then whatever cc is not on stun’s DR, and then technically for the cycle to start over again.

Yes. It is. As opposed to what? Nobody cares about CC in comps anymore and you just take whichever classes can pve the hardest and throw out 1 cc every 30 seconds?

I feel we need to take away healer damage almost completely outside disc priest. Like earth ele gone holy priest damage halved and bring them inline with mw damage.

No more of this boon cheese either it just legit is w key someone once you get off the cast behind a pillar or no kicks available in 2s.
