If you play these classes, you have no right to call DH “easy”

Not a nice try, I was simply listing specs I thought were braindead easy. Protection Warriors and Paladins are both quite more indepth than BM and Bear. Only reason I didn’t list Vengeance is because Vengeance actually has to be smart about its mitigation otherwise it gets crushed faster than a wet paper bag. Monks and Bears can easily have 100% uptime on Ironskin Brew and Ironfur which significantly decreases the skill ceiling, in my opinion.

I play Fury. You can literally bind your skills to every key on the keyboard, roll your face around on it and pull more DPS than most.

It is quite literally faceroll.

Just roll a DH already and quit whining

Demon Hunters remind me of those Emo kids who tried too hard to be edgy, but were actually normal people but insecure about who they are normally.

Then they’ll just want another class nerfed when they get rolled by them in 1v1 :expressionless:

Uh huh, you actually do that and see how well that works for you.

Spoilers: It won’t.

Someone’s mad.

I just found this memo from when Blizz was first creating DHs;

Employee 1: “we need a class that any bad player can play and be good against other players that play normal classes, one that only has no weakness except logging out.”

Employee 2: “you mean like hunters?”

Employee 1: “No. I mean easier and unable to die in pvp. We want to keep the “hunter” part because it is going to be laughably easy, and since we want to steal the meta demons from locks, let’s call them demon hunters and give them every ability in the game, too, including a leech so that their badness won’t affext their gameplay experience and they will be nearly immortal.”

Employee 2: “that sounds like a bad idea. Won’t other players that are playing classes with weaknesses and limitations become frustrated?”

Employee 1: “nah. I used to use the cheat modes in Doom, it was fun and the only way i could beat it; this is similar, it is just now instead of using codes to play godmode, the class is now the godmode!”

Employee 2: “brilliant! What happens when everyone gets tired of fighting grandma mode DHs in pvp or doing 5x the work in pve for the same amount of dps or lower as grandma mode DHs…Er um i mean, godmode DHs in pvp/pve, and everyone rolls a dps DH, and there are less and less tanks and healers?”

Employee 1: “we will wing it. Remember, if it’s not broken, fix it until it is.”

Im going to try that tonight. I could always use a dps boost.

“Ease” in this game is almost entirely situational. Where a class may excel in one instance another class may suffer heavy losses in their utility for the same instance, that’s not considering how the specs may differ both in methodology (ranged vs melee, weapon types available, etc) and capabilities (fire mage is the only one with a self heal, so obviously any of the other two will have to learn how to effectively rotate out their shields).

Vids or it didn’t happen!

Was that to me? Or someone else?

Well at least I can complain then.

You might wanna try pet battles, if a DH is too much for you in PvP.

Oh we all can complain. I think what this thread amounts to is OP salt that DHs are being double nerfed in Shadowlands via the AoE target cap and some of their abilities are being nerfed.

Edit: The actual decent DH players (what few there are) who love the class, and not because it’s FotM, will adapt and overcome. The rest, they’ll reroll to the next ice cream, ahem I mean class, flavor.

I agree. Nerf dhs.

If we’ve had a DH in our stable since they were released are we still FOTMing it up?

You’re the one posting on a throwaway alt character. You tell me.

What I’m posting on is irrelevant to the question. If we’ve had a DH in our stable since they were released are we still FOTMing it up?

I’m pretty sure it’s relevant. Regardless, just because you got one sitting in the character select screen doesn’t mean you’re not FotM-ing it up.

Are you still going to main DH in Shadowlands? Considering you’re posting on a new DK, seems that answer is no. In which case, yes, yes you were/are FotM chasing.

Personally i’m of the opinion that no dps class is really more complicated than any others once you get past the initial learning phase. Playing any class at a relatively low level is easy. Always has been, always will be. No ones beating me in dps because they’re playing an ez mode class. They’re beating me because I need to GIT GUD.
