I’m 40 and my trick if I lose my mouse cursor, I bring it to the top of my screen and go back and forth a bit looking at the top and center of my screen and try to get the mouse to top and center.

I used to have StarCursor, but it broke. :cry:

It would put a shiny star on the cursor when you move it around.

i didnt have the problem until I bought a much wider monitor.
Now Im turning up the cursor size so I can see it moving thru all the movement on the screen.

my vision with my corrective lenses is better than 20/20, so its not a vision thing…just that tiny little cursor getting lost in all that on-screen action.

wife thought I was losing it over here playing the game one night before I increased the cursor size…moving the mouse around really fast and aggressive trying to find the cursor to click something fast lol.

My vision with glasses used to be 20/10. Not sure if it still is.

Without… let’s just say I’d be lucky to read the big E on the chart. :sweat_smile:

I am Gen X and when I lose my cursor, I just stare dumbfounded for a while until it shows back up.

I just put a ring around it, also means I can see where it’ll show back up if I’m moving my camera.

i didn’t have an issue with losing my cursor until they switched the default cursor

My cursor is a 3XXXL Mickey Mouse hand that farts sparkles when I move it so that way I never ever lose it, even when I can’t find it.

I used to use Cursortrail, but I got tired of Blizzard breaking it. Now I use nothing and move the cursor in circles until I find it again, as our God-King intended. It takes longer than it used to because of the increase in effects layered across the screen. But this is what they decided to do.

I think part of the issue is there’s so much visual noise. I’m an enhancement shaman and when I get going, there’s lightning bathing the area around me. when I go to do those public events in the new areas and like 30+ people are participating, it’s a sea of indecipherable nonsense. Luckily we can turn the particles down.

I lose mine all the time, switched to linux (cachyos) a few months ago and they have a feature built in, shake the mouse and it becomes larger the longer you shake it.

That’s what I do since StarCursor broke.

I need to get a new addon. Maybe that Ultimate Mouse Cursor that Myz suggested.

Just got an addon, problem fixed instantly.

Not every thing is a generation issue, sometimes something is just poorly design and someone does it better.
