No, the game is in the best state it’s ever been in. We have WoTLK level subscribers, and i’m just doing my duty as a highly prestigious member of the community to curb all the crying and whining.

I never said I didn’t own the game, I just didn’t buy Shadowlands because unlike most people I actually got to experience it prior so was able to make an informed decision on how much I wouldn’t enjoy it.

They stopped releasing Subscriber numbers years ago and the large increase in subs was because of classic. You have no data to back up your claims. If wow had Wotlk subs(which was its peak) then they would have published it

This is a WoW forum, sorry if people supporting WoW is seen as some kind of tinfoil conspiracy theory by Blizzard but the reality is that there are more people supporting Blizzard than crying about it on the forums.

The beta doesn’t represent the final mastered product so no, you’re probably not informed on actual issues as you haven’t even bought the game to begin with.

They stopped releasing it due to them switching to a different revenue model (Time played > Subscribers) which can be googled, and the large increase due to Classic died as soon as MC dropped because people finally took off the nostalgia glasses.

Really? You don’t even know what I was unhappy with. It could have been the artwork which didn’t change one bit between August and release.
I am glad you have come around to the truth though. You need to experience the game before you actually know if you like it or not. So the number of sales of Shadowlands has nothing to do with the amount of enjoyment people are having after they play it.
Cherry pie is very good. But so is blueberry pie.
