If you dont see what they are doing with heirlooms than your blind as a bird

hey words hurt in real life okay?

You are more than welcome to not wear heirlooms.

There is no need to remove them from the game because you dont want to wear them.

Was just making a point, it wasn’t directed at anyone in particular lol.

which should last all of 10 hours or so. several tester on stream have said thats how long it took for a “casual” leveling through the content should take.

Dev interviews are aiming for 10-20 hours for 1-50

its not going to be an issue. its multiple times faster than it has ever been.

not days with looms its mere hours without them. seems a fair trade (as long as they give looms a different buff. i would like socket slots)

Wait, give me a moment to find my tinfoil hat.

Same here. SInce I am cleaning out legion stuff and have to hit wq’s and such for rep for order hall armour appearances and arfitact appearancs that need rep levels for quests unlocks I help the legit 101’s there.

If the wq is up and to them its a quest area…I give as many as possible a chance to get their 1 shot in to tag before I use the nuclear option.

I don’t mind the time loss even though on say MM hunter with lonewolf even arcane is one shot on arcane more often than not.

I help a few players run out the kill X demons for say azuna start faster I feel good about that.

They said that leveling alts in SL will be something like 60% faster than leveling one right now. Seems you’re just sad that you spent money on an in-game money sink. LOLOL.

So you’re an “old generation”? If so then why don’t you have all your alts leveled up past the point where heirlooms are pointless then.

Source please… I want to see where you’re getting this from… BRUH.

slots…I like this idea.

the xp rants…meh. I got mine for the stats and the xp bonus. I am a big fan of the weapons and trinket looms. Double up haste (my most used) , always good weapon…have fun.

The looms with no XP will still have a use. See I have leveled with this xp bonus. If SL is as fast as this the always improved stats will be needed. UNless dungeon running maybe. I don’t do dungeon, so can’t speak on how good the gear is. I run open world.

If I relied on good drops on my undead hunters run in wrath…I would be in a bad spot. She has not seen very good drops in 60 to 70. This happens fast now so you don’t get more chances by volume here any longer.

If like my last 120 leveling run the faster leveling will cost me gold. As I went to AH to pick up basic boe greens for cheap. You can go to MOP/cata with the same hands as you entered Wrath.

You can hit WoD with crap Mop Gear.

and on down the line.

At least the loom slots were already covered and paid for. So I was happy with that at least.

Literally, meaning, my blind?

Leveling will be exponentially faster than in the past. Allegedly you can get to top level in 10 hours or less from what I’ve heard floating around (though I don’t have a source).

It’s a shocker that new players struggle in this game when people approach them with this attitude.

They are improving the game for everyone. There is nothing wrong with a game that caters to new players, casuals, and experienced players. Why the elitist attitude?

Okay now I can’t tell if this post is satire. I need to go to sleep.

Again. WHY are new people in the community considered a terrible thing?

Fun story. Alice Cooper once threw a chicken into the crowd thinking it would fly. I think someone threw the chicken onto the stage before he did this.

It got torn to pieces by the audience

edit Okay I checked. Shep Gordon saw the chicken wandering around so he threw it onto the stage

 That was good, have a like.

Now, where did I put my popcorn again? Oh! There it is. Now, to channel my inner Mike Nelson.

I must have missed it on my monitor that shows everything in braille. Now, excuse me while I feel the projected photons before I get my Seeing Eye Bat and go out on a stroll into traffic.

I would take offense to that statement, but I can’t. As it is, sadly, all too true because people don’t fact check these days.

It, on the other hand, amuses me.

You have heard of the GIFT Theory, right? The anonymity of the internet does strange and sadly predictable things to people. Things like poor spelling, worse grammar, and the opinion that manners are something that happens to other people.

The lack of showers, on the other hand, is something I agree on. There is no excuse.

I do hope you take a shower more often than that. I know you get used to the smell after awhile, but still… And as for how I know about getting used to the smell of going without a shower, military service and being sent to places where showers were a luxury you were lucky to get once a month.

I got very familiar with the smells of feet, farts, and fish and how you get used to them in time. And if you’re wondering about the fish, that innocence is just precious.

Feel free to continue in doing so, miss.

Now available at your faction capital’s hardware store for the astonishing low price of one silver. Just don’t ask where the tinfoil came from, that Fel Reaper had it coming.

I like how this highschool dropout compares blindness to birds which have better eyesight than humans.

have birds ever seen the surface of the moon? because i have.

haha git gud, noob

I do it all the time, and it’s rarely a nightmare. I mean, it is occasionally, but so is healing my raid team, sometimes.

Healing noobs in a leveling dungeon is not that bad. Like…at all. The dungeons are tuned to those who are leveling, so those of us who have had experience and are comfortable and familiar with our tool kit don’t have any issues at all.

Of course they are. If they weren’t the game would die. Listen, I don’t like the removal of XP from the heirlooms, either, and I think it was a horrendously stupid move to announce it off-hand in an interview like that instead of formally announcing the change AFTER they’d finished deciding what they’re gonna replace the XP with. I’m not happy about it, but it’s hardly a death knell for the game.

They don’t want people getting more xp/hour while leveling. It’s like not wanting us to fly at the start of an expansion. They’ve determined this and chosen to disable xp from heirlooms. I don’t like that, but whatever.

The game is not over. Of course they’re focused on getting new players. I love what they’ve done with the level squish and the new, more linear leveling process. I love that they’ve created a new starting scenario for new players. This stuff…isn’t worth Chicken Little-ing over.

Edited to add: We have three new players in our guild right now. They’ve never played this game before or it’s been 10 years since they played. They were confused af when they got back into this game. There was no linear storyline for them to follow in leveling. The transitions between expansion content made ZERO sense and were astonishingly abrupt. There wasn’t nearly enough leading in the gameplay to “teach” a new player what is up with any of the functions of the game. There’s nothing to guide a player through the world or familiarize them with capitals and maps.

It was time they re-tooled toward making game even remotely playable for new joins. It was beyond time. This stuff is a good thing, and if my bitter dislike for the removal of XP from the heirlooms is the price I pay…I’ll get over it.

They seriously need to mail every person who has upgraded all the looms a free brutosaur mount in exchange for this highway robbery.

Honestly from what I have experienced from other games. People here probably would like the new generation of players they are all very very very

Go go go zooooom gotta go fast. So if they make content that encourages and rewards going as fast as you can… they will make these happy. Guess what that’s what mythic + is. So if you like Mythic+ you will like these new players.

i bet you didn’t try asking them!!

You’re*

And birds have exceptional eyesight.

So…checks notes

This guy doesn’t like new players it seems.
