The more intriguing question is of course, will the heart regenerate a new body while the old regenerates the heart
I’d imagine having their blood flow no longer pumping would get in the way of regeneration.
As for organ gifts. I wouldn’t be surprised if Forsaken did that.

see, i was thinkin the trolls could do something like that! but i was’nt quite sure if it would work with their regeneration. i mean, they clearly don’t wanna die when they do something like that.

Probably not. Regenerating (even just skin for humans) requires blood to be circulating. That won’t happen with no heart.
They can probably only live through things that leave their vital organs relatively intact

Um, I think you need a ring of regeneration for your limbs to grow back…according to lore that is.
