If you could play ONE class for the rest of you WoW career, what you picking and why?

Warrior, but everyone else has to play one too. None of these pansy healer, stealthy, ranged, and undead-summoning types: just pure, beefy, sweaty warriors with big weapons…and lots of oil. :axe:

I think I would love Druid for th3 reasons you mentioned but I love plate mogs!

I would have to go with Paladin for these reasons:

  • I have always played paladin in any game that has paladins, all the way back to pen & paper D&D. I love the idea of being a strong warrior type in plate armor that can also use spells and heal.

  • Paladin was my first WoW class (all the way back to the original WoW beta in 2004) and has always been my main. I’ve played many classes, but I always go back to Paladin.

  • If I were going to play just one class, it would have to be one that can DPS or tank.

Demon hunter would be a very close second - the mobility makes it super fun to play, it can DPS or tank, and I also really like the class theme.

Druid, because it’s what I’m rolling now, and time is short.

Already playing it :stuck_out_tongue:

Bard. because I’d be playing another game.

(But seriously, probably hunter … lots of race/pet combos out there to play, even if I almost always just fall back to a spirit beast)

I’ve already been maining paladin since TBC

If this was MoP, it would be mm/sv hunter, hands down. Currently, I’d have to go with druid.

Probably monk, so when I get old I’ll still have mobility.

Shaman or Paladin.

I’ve played Shaman the most already over the years and even when I try to branch out and main something different, I end up falling back to it by the end of an expansion. But more often than not I’ve just mained it, period.

Paladin is my 2nd most played class and my original main, but I find that I have more interest in other specs for Paladin than I do for Shaman. While I HAVE spent time with Enh and Resto, the vast majority of my time spent on Shaman has been Elemental. With Paladin, it’s been split fairly evenly between Prot and Holy, with Ret as an offspec that I don’t have anything against.

So it’s between those 2. Shaman has the lead, but I feel like I might get a bit more diversity out of playing Paladin, so in the context of “play it forever”, that might have a slight edge.

I’m not sure which one I’d go for tbh.

Shaman. It’s been my Horde main for a long time. I just love the class thematically, especially for Pandaren.

I have to admit, I’d really miss my warrior here and my mage, but it didn’t take much thought.

I’m kinda doing that now actually…

My Death Knight ofcourse, specifically Unholy dk!

Deleted my original vanilla wow warrior way back when in wrath to make my dk, and been playing this toon as my main ever since. Expansions go by where I don’t ever touch a alt at all but this one toon. Only exception was Legion, BFA, and kinda this expansion, but never really went far with the alts.

Hunters can
-solo with ease
-stealth
-break combat
-heal
-range dps
-melee dps
-turtle immunity
-off tank
-lust
-lots of utility
-be played by like every race

Druid would probably be the default choice since you get everything, but Hunter is my go-to.

Druid would be the best class to play.

You can do anything and everything with four different specs to choose from.

Rogue, stealth, nuff said.

Hunter. I just don’t want to bother others with my tasks so having a pet is a good substitute.

Druid. All 4 roles available. Great mobility. Also my favorite healer to play at the moment. I’m probably druiding 80% of the time anyway.

Shaman, love my enhancement too much. And resto is decent.

I think druid seems like a great choice, but don’t you look at plate mogs and drool? druid mogs dont do too much for me. I wish i felt different because druid looks fun!

Druid or Shadow Priest.

Astral or Void themes are my favorite. Though I love mages as well… and they fit almost everywhere. I mean, you can do a squirrel grab quest, a quest getting drunk or a quest merely investigating artifacts and you’d not feel out of place with mage. Hard choice.

Unlike some classes like DK or DHs, and possibly even Shadow Priests lol.
