I just really put “blood elves” for name recognition. In a perfect world, I’d have kept the Blood Elves with Kael’thas as the bad guys. And had no Blood Elves in Silvermoon, just like it was at the end of WC3.
i guess… but i think folks would recognize high elves. i mean… it’s high elves. but i get what your saying.
personally, i like the races we got in bc, but uh… i do think it’s a little dumb we did’nt get high-elves and ogres yet (and then they gave us void-elves cause someone at blizz is petty about high-elves, even though vereesa and the sliver covenant are a part of the alliance).
A paragon leveling system instead of an ever-increasing level cap as has been implemented in Diablo 3 or Elder Scrolls Online.
Having a side form of reasonably difficult single player content akin to horrific visions that could give loot on par with normal/heroic raid gear. If they had made torghast with a loot system similar to horrific visions instead of being tied to legendary crafting it would have been one of the best parts of this expansion.
I was going to say, in Cata instead of making 10-man raiding the most balls-busting experience they could, and driving people away from the game, they actually made it reasonable and approachable.
But flex in Cata would have also been good.
Both, together, would be even better.
Remove normal and heroic raiding, but keep LFR and Mythic since they’re harder to accomplish.
No reason, other than to watch the chaos.
Just as an FYI, Torghast was going to have loot, but a ton of people complained that they didn’t want it to be like Horrific Visions (specifically in regards to the timer) so the timer was removed and the loot with it (since it was no longer like Horrific Visions).
Sylvanas and Garrosh both die in MoP.
WoD never happens, BFA never happens, SL never happens. Legion which was actually good could probably still happen with a less dumb instigating factor.
I’d leave Ion wherever he was just developing raid encounters.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. The current game utilizes CC all of the time lmao
In mythic, I’m talking in regular and heroic dungeons. Do you remember Cata dungeons? Lol.
You can be belligerent and obnoxious all you want, it doesn’t make me wrong or you right. It just makes you belligerent and obnoxious. “lmao”
No flying.
Why? Because I’ve been the true villain this whole time.
player housing.
Not possible after the events of WC3: TFT.
Become an executive at Blizzard - clean out the trash long before it became a toxic cesspool, and never, ever hire Ion.
you mean a historical choice? I’d have never implemented LFR/LFD
a current choice?
housing with all the bells/whistles.
I would probably opt to not do anything cross-server and instead rely upon actual mergers of servers to reduce the number of dead servers. LFD/LFR could stay but would be same server only.
Remove all FOMO and restore all previously removed content at challenges equal to original difficulty.
I would need several. For one, levels would go away and be replaced by the FFXIV Main Story Quest and content unlocking mechanism. For those that do not know, FFXIV, the number 1 MMO on the market, has a unified leveling campaign that gets added to as new major patches and expansions come out. They still have levels, but they are largely pointless since you need to do the MSQ to even unlock things like dungeons and raids. The MSQ does a good job too of telling the story and giving the player the knowledge and understanding how/why they go from a nobody to someone on a first name basis with the prominent NPCs. You also unlock faster mount speeds and even flying (and faster flying) on a per zone basis be questing through the MSQ and finding points of interest along with a compass pointing you in the right direction and telling you how far away the next point is.
I would also say mythic raids become nothing but challenge mode fights with stat template characters. You get extra action buttons for any active trinket Blizzard wants you to have for that fight and a reuseable health and DPS potion like brawlers guild does. No gear or anything you do outside the mythic raid matters so no more need for no life mythic raiding tryhards to do anything else in the game but log and prog and IF they do, they’re now beholden to my grandest of all plans…a raiding mode where fresh accounts/players and groups that take them are actively rewarded and people “overgeared” are scaled down and/or hurt the raid. LFR difficulty would be gone and replaced with normal and heroic only. LFR itself remains but for every stack of determination, your chance for titanforging (a thing again) goes goes down by 5-10% per stack. Valor is a PvE currency used to upgrade gear to what would be mythic raid item levels with the difference being the base item level you start at and how much valor you get from content you do. Want to be a solo casual world quest hero? You absolutely can and you can even use your valor to upgrade your gear to the mythic raid item level max too…if there is enough time and you’re dedicated enough that is.
Finally, I would add garrisons on super steroids. You would have a castle that represents your account and all of its accomplishments. Every character on your account would be present there and your active toon can even “assign” the others duties. Those with professions can do work orders or even train other alts and teach them levels/recipes. Every class you level to max unlocks a class hall for that class and every race you max unlocks customizations for that race. Earning exalted with a faction allows NPCs and guards to be there. You can dedicate plots to professions as you see fit. In another area would be your armory where you can have mannequins decorated with your favorite sets and you can swap too just be clicking it. There would be a trophy room of all your raid boss kills and a timestamp when you first did it. Obviously you could invite others to it who can marvel at what you’ve built. This would be the most ever of evergreen systems that comes with you expansion to expansion and is always built and improved upon and would more than serve as housing to boot.
Casual players don’t like things to be hard, as Cataclysm proved, so they stepped away from dungeons being hard lol
Until M+ was introduced
The mode of content you’re looking for and complaining about is literally there
