The real challenge would probably be convincing most people who roll as Scarlet Crusade that they’re actually villains at all.

Its a good answer for the crusade. Im not going to lie i forgot about the defias and their motives did start out in the right.
As for the “crusaders are not in the right”. No one is saying their the good guys. They are evil, the base quest suggested before is a good way to show that warped sense of justice and how they have fallen to fear and hatred.
That would be a little nuanced for wow and blizz would probably drop the ball.

I like the idea of the Twilight’s Hammer and Scarlet Crusade being a large playable third and forth faction. Since the Horde and Alliance are now strange bedfellows, the new Azeroth really needs a new faction that puts the War back into Warcraft.

Infinite Dragonflight. I am kinda curious what their version of events would be if they were ever successful in their goals.
Murozond states, “This? This is a blessing you cannot comprehend.” when encountered in the End Time instance. Implying whatever alternatives there are could be much, much worse.
All that’s known for sure is that they’re trying to bring about Murozond, and even Nozdormu states it’s an eventuality. Everything we’re doing is merely postponing it.
