Brutosaur mount for me 100% – I have always been the worst at making in-game gold so I knew the Brutosaur was NEVER going to happen for me lol…

Back in the day, my daughter was farming the tiger and she took her new BF (his first time) to that raid- the mount dropped- and he rolled and won it.

He felt badly about it since she had been farming it quite awhile. He talked to Blizzard ( yeah, long time ago! ) and asked them if they could take it from him and give it to her. They did!

But, they also let him keep his! They still ride them together once in awhile!

Ya I wish that I would have just grinded my %#$ off when it was available. I didn’t know it would go away and think it shouldn’t have. 5mil is still a lot for the average player.

I don’t wish that because when I did the math at the point I was looking, the mount cost the gold equivalent of $750. I would never buy that thing… but I would take it for free as the OP asked.

To me mount value has absolutely nothing to do with rarity… just function and aesthetics in that order. The whole mount rarity thing to me is silly.

For the usefulness, I’d pick the Brutosaur, unsurprisingly.

But beyond that, I already have the best looking mount: The Felfire Hawk!

swift zulian tiger and MOP cmode phoenixes, but i already have them… i love that mount, it reminds me of playing the game many years ago…

the fun i had farming it with friends, etc.

i could say something like the amani war bear, that is a cool mount but i wouldn’t be satisfied with it knowing that i got it for free without doing the challenge back in TBC.

same with the AQ black bug mount - why would i want to have it if i didn’t earn it?

i would never buy a mount from the BMAH either because that doesn’t equate to earning the mount.

the mounts i enjoy are ones that i worked hard for and provide fun memories of an earlier time in wow.

i love the mop cmode phoenix because it reminds me of the fun i had doing mop cmodes. the first one i chose was the crimson pandaren pheonix because i liked it the best out of the four and that is the one that i ride to this day as my flying mount.

would i want the mop cmode phoenix if i didn’t earn it back in the day? no, not really.

is that the paragon mount for the valrajar rep? it’s easy to get now… just spam timewalking dungeons for badges, use those badges to buy valarjar rep tokens when it is legion timewalking.

its like 50 badges for 250 rep… you get a really good return (and they are BOA), so you can farm the badges on multiple characters - IE: do the first timewalking on all of your toons for the 500 badge quest, then you can farm more if u feel like it.

this is how i got the court of farondis mount that eluded me during the entirety of legion.

Well… either one of the Spectral Tiger mounts, or the Ultramarine Qiraji Battle Tank (gave up on this one).
