Honestly I’m hoping classic is the begining of all expansions being re-released as their own servers. Hopefully in a similar timeline as the originals.
I would play them all again.

I would go back to the last good expansion: Wrath of the Lich King.

Wrath or legion.

Didn’t even finish wrath. Hit my 80 and moved on to pandaria. Just want that 110 heritage ding on the void elf.

Liked my time there though. Would like to go back when not on a heritage mission to play in it some more.

Legion…I never really left lol. Both sides Main there often. So is another 120 alt. TBH I am debating if I should turn off leveling and keep the void elf there longer and have it fully functional for a bit longer. Have some time (like 29 levels) to work that out.

I would say Legion because I missed it. :frowning:
But if it’s like I time-travel back in time to one specific expansion, I’d say either Wrath or MoP. Wrath for the better all-around content, but MoP had great class design and more quality of life features (and I’m in the minority that I think SoO was better than ICC).

Cataclysm or MoP. Preferred my spec in Cata, and other gameplay/zones/etc of MoP.

Okay, so not go back to, as in do it over, but rather “have a similar experience to” or “have new content based on that expac design”?

Pandaland… there was a sense of progression with the zones and story that is completely lacking in BFA. Legion would be a close 2nd.

If they could actually have communities again, my number 1 and 2 picks would be mop and tbc. I loved mop cms and I loved tbc heroics.
But really there was something I loved about every expansion. The one I wouldn’t go back to ever is wrath though. Even WoD had cms and op blood dk design, but wrath just had nothing I liked after ulduar patch. There class iterations ruined holy and prot paladin for me, and all the stuff that was bad about the game started in wrath. The 10 and 25 man split difficulty was the single worst idea they ever had if you ask me.

It would be coin flip between BC and Wrath. I loved the zones in both and that was the last time I was really invested in the story. It’s not really a secret that although I’ve gotten around ok without flying, I dislike the concept of Pathfinder. The first time I loaded in and got on the zeppelin to Northrend was the last time I was truly excited to be heading off somewhere new.

Wrath and MoP for the stories and I always seemed to have something to do.

Legion for the artifact weapons. Loved the idea of having a significant lore-type weapon and the added bonus of doing stuff to get different looks for it. Grinding AP? Not so much lol.

MoP, because it was before pathfinder.

I’d pick Legion if it didn’t have pathfinder, scaling, or nerfed leveling and heirlooms. 7.2.5 maybe.
