Hi, the topic title says it all. Some of my characters’ banks are starting to overflow with items that they can equip but don’t get mog credit for and it’s getting to be a bit much. For logistics and inventory sake, please let us get wardrobe credit and transmog ability for any and all items a character can equip.
But don’t we have to do that already? At least this way a single plate wearer will be able to unlock all non-class specific transmogs rather than requiring a cloth, leather, mail, and plate wearer to get them all. shrug
All characters getting appearance credit, but only being able to mog items they can equip would be fine too. It sure would be nice for my rogue and shaman to get all those outfits out of their banks.
Why are you keeping stuff in your bank if that character can learn it? Just on the off-chance that they change their mind?
I was annoyed by this restriction when transmogs were first made account-wide, but honestly it’s not that big a deal. If you want a specific appearance, farm it on a character that can use it. It’s the same with gear whose stats you’re interested in.
The Rogue has a bunch of cloth robes/dresses and the Shaman has a couple leather-based outfits. I can learn the appearances on different characters, but I can’t transmog the cloth on the Rogue and the leather on the Shaman, etc. That necessitates keeping a bunch of stuff in the bank to actually equip when I need the different looks for various things.
No? They can learn almost all weapons, but they can’t learn non-plate.
Sounds like that would be solved by being allowed to wear a piece of cloth and then mog that cloth into other cloth, like we were able to do pre-wardrobe.
I know my warrior’s got a whole bag slot full of different robes that I would love to toss out, keeping just a single cloth robe to wear and mog whenever I need to and just collect the appearances on my mage/priest.
