I like the idea of sethrak as an AR, but to be honest
I cant help but have flashbacks to my son obsessively watching ninjago everytime a sethrak opens his mouth :joy:

I dont think they should go alliance
They are on good terms with the vulpera and the zandalari. The horde helped them out a lot.

The alliance did very little to aid them.

To go alliance would be to turn against their allies and plunge their homeland into war since its in horde territory and where the vulpera live.

To me it just makes very little sense why they would chose to allign themselves with the alliance.

I can understand joining the horde however should they chose to join a faction.

I’m just messing with you a bit. I don’t care much which side they actually end up on.

I’d prefer Alliance, for many reasons, but I regularly play Horde and Alliance. Wouldn’t hurt me either way.

I have had 0 interest in ANY of the races released this expansion.

KT Humans are disgusting in most gear because of their body
 “shape”. Even the Women are bad this time around, unlike with Male Pandaren vs Female Pandaren.

DI Dwarves are
 okay. But at the end of the day they’re still just dwarves and I don’t really prefer either one over the other. Dwarves to me are an alt thing. I can never stay interested in them visually for long enough to main one.

Mechagnomes are a disgrace and literally everyone, even Mechagnomes, know it.

Mag’har Orcs are just Orcs with a pallet swap. I don’t like the Orc model in this game, so I don’t like them. I’d play it if I were forced to play some form of Orc, but that’s not saying much.

Zandalari Trolls are like slightly shorter versions of Darkspear Trolls but with the few good looking options removed. Disgusting.

Vulpera remind me far too much of Goblins (because that’s what they’re based on) to enjoy. The proportions are weird. The muscles are weird. Again, I’d rather play it over their counterpart (Goblin), but that isn’t saying much when I don’t like either to begin with.

But Sethrak? They’re one of the more unique options. I know they’re loosely based on the female Worgen skeleton or something like that, but it’s heavily modified. More than Goblin -> Vulpera. Then there’s the fact that the distinction between male and female is less blatant, which would be a unique feature for WoW (but also probably one of the reasons they didn’t end up making them an Allied Race). I just think they look really interesting. I’d even be okay with disabling helmets in the same way Mechagnomes have several gear slots hidden if getting them to work right would be too difficult. FFXIV did it with Vierra. We can have it here.

I would’ve loved to see them as a playable race. I’d prefer Alliance or Neutral because I play Alliance and don’t like most of the aesthetics and story beats Hordeside, but I’d understand if they’d need to be Horde since they interacted more with them.

Then again, if they can justify throwing Nightborne at the Horde because “Tyrande was kinda rude once”, they could justify getting them on Alliance side.

Then please make an in game suggestion for them! The more voices the better. It is in the in game menu under the Help tab!

I love all the support this is getting! And am glad there is still plenty of interest in Sethrak as a playable race! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

All the more reason to give them to us.

They got the single most asked for race in the entire expansion, we got diaper gnomes.

There needs to be a re-balancing here.
