I wish I was in Florida, they got it good over there (…hurricanes aside)

Florida folks are in good hands/will be OK, that governor they got is BiS in my opinion :ok_hand:

Parents are retirees in Jacksonville. No word yet, and I just experienced Karding typhoon here in Philippines

I’ve got family in Jacksonville too! They’re doing just fine right now. If it helps.

Thank you! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I know right?

I lose power all the time though, probably no WoW for me tomorrow afternoon.

Dud, this looks just like something ‘Florida Man’ would do. :joy:

Storm should filter out by the time it hits Jacksonville.

I live in Orlando, damn thing is coming straight thru but as a tropical storm. So a ton of rain (we need it but they are talking 25+ inches of it) and wind to knock out power :frowning:

Yep! So scary. I almost made a thread this morning but thought it might get reported.

I hope folks are smart and leave if they need to.

Well I live up north here so we may not get any rain. Time will tell!

Lol moved to Georgia last month to be closer to being able to visit my sister but really most Florida are old folks. Not that bad. I’ll take Floridians over new Yorkers any day. Lol

Thank you.

I was born here, and lived most of my life here. In short, we (locals) don’t even leave or worry unless the Storm is a 3.5 or higher.

Port St. Lucie (formerly North Miami) resident here. Down here, we’re just getting rain. A lot of rain, to the point that the roads outside my house were completely inundated when I came back from the supermarket the other day. No idea if it will get worse, though I can say from past experiences that I’ve never had a window broken or a car damaged by debris.
