If you are convinced that Dragonflight is going to be that bad. Just don’t order it. Save you’re money, close your lips and find a better game to play.

I found it’s a lot easier to learn how to enjoy this game again when I don’t have someone else spoon feed me their pessimistic opinion and decide what i should be fuming over.

People should still be allowed to express their displeasure. Unfortunately the world rarely presents feedback with positives. I’ve been in customer service

Well they were using hyperbole I assume, and just saying anyone saying negative things about it is saying “it sucks”.
I think it’s valid to criticise things like what we have seen, the lack of information, or the short release date.
It’s not that people want it to suck, but people are genuinely concerned that without proper testing and time then history will repeat itself.
It does means you care though, when you don’t care about something you don’t even talk about it.
We will have to disagree. I don’t like xyz. I wish they would do abc. That is talking. Game sucks. while technically, yes that is talking… is it really?

In a case like mine, I want to preorder but I am having a hard time convincing myself to actually do it. It’s like some sort of internal battle.

Yes, yes it is? I mean the original point still stands. You either care enough about something to talk about it or you can’t bring yourself to care and you can’t justify participating in the discussion.
People complain because they care.
It’s not like we want this game to be bad.

IF you consider only OPs hyperbolic statement yes I agree.
Perhaps I misread it and assumed they were addressing the large amount of discontent when really they were specifically meaning a group who’s comments are literally “it will suck”.
Most people’s idea of constructive criticism basically amounts to throwing insults and initiate confrontation.
I wasn’t a fan of the Teldrassil slaughter but ive since learned to appreciate it for what it was. The book helped.
Reason why I bring it up is because I care more about the story, art and music than I would Mythic+ affixes.
