My dude Sweaties aren’t playing classic there is very little skill expression in classic especially this early in sod. SoD is fun chill time when not pushing keys. The people who are playing massive amounts on classic are largely the ones crying about gdkps

No. Why would they need to give you anything. They never intended gdkp so by them banning it, they arent removing anything they intended to be in.
Play the game how its supposed to be played. Join a guild, raid with them, use teamwork, get the gear.
No one needs to compensate you for things you created that harmed the community. Thats like saying “Since the police removed narcotics, they need to give us something else instead!”

the invested and intelligent userbase created a superior product on all counts.
you removed the superior product with a false association to resolving botting.
This or a bad luck system would be well received I think.
At this point, there’s no real reason to severely bottleneck gear. It’s a seasonal server and the “endgame” for hardcore players has become the parsing after gearing up, not gearing up itself. Blizzard should lean into it imo. The more folks are BiS, the more the parse fans can lean into competing at the highest level for parses.
It would be especially beneficial to PvP to reduce gear disparities among the playerbase.

Its fine man, i had some hope for the Community in regards to the responses to my megathread, but support actually just deleted it.
This is why WoW will only get worse.
People like us who speak negatively about certain things are ridiculed and silenced.
The people who called SOD “Retail -” when it was announced were attacked and mocked, now everyone uses the term for it.
This community wants bad games and this community deserves bad games. SOD is truly what all these people deserve.
You know what, let Blizzard return GDKPS for these jokers. Classic is finished.

Cockroach people who deserve the cockroach community they have created on this cockroach game. Attacking people who love the game and want it to be better, alienating and pushing them away, then wondering why Blizzard only serves them garbage games.
Classic is long dead and will never be brought back in an official Blizzard form.

They should just have a dropdown list appear after each boss kill and you can select the piece of loot you want to receive

There was a suggestion to keep gdkp available on one server. Blizzard would never do it tho because all the other servers would collapse

no need to even have gdkp at all, that’s not what i said, just make a server for the gdkp addicts to log into their character with full bis so they can go ahead and quit since they don’t actually like playing the game

Retail tourists? Youre the one playing a version of the game with 50 Retail abilities per class while asking for more boss loot because your precious RMT cheater mode was cut.

Correct, every good player would be on the gdkp server, but honestly it’s probably already too late, blizzard has probably just lost a ton of active players because of this… but the bots and gold seller subs will still be there as they have been for 20 years because this will fix nothing.

They might as well ban master looting all together. You never know why they are MLing the item to the person who gets it.
