If Turalyon becomes king, I want the option to leave the Alliance

Altho the fact he’s voiced by Travis Willingham makes me giggle a bit.

Sonic Boom was such a comedy gold mine

Let’s see if Turalyon can lead the Alliance to get back some old strongholds.
Anduin it’s too good for the position .

This is one of my favorite posts of all time, thank you for this. I submit to you.

Bring Arthas back as Ally king. I would hop over and faction change all my Horde toons over to Ally in a heartbeat if that happened.

I notice it was mentioned that Khadgar will feature in the expansion, and it makes me wonder if thats because of Turalyon. As I recall, both Khadgar and Turalyon were original members of the Sons of Lothar (which was also known as the Alliance Expedition) so they probably were fairly close. It would be interesting to see what would happen if Turalyon did actually go full on Light or Nothing, what Khadgar would do. He has always been very careful to remain neutral in things relating to Azeroth however he certainly supported and fought for the Alliance in the past and I dont believe he owes any loyalty to the Light.

So if Turalyon were to threaten the destruction of the Alliance or took on a “follow the Light or die” approach, I think Khadgar would be forced to fight his old friend.

Yea we know about alliance burning homes ( or wagons ).

that would make alleria the queen of the alliance. I approve of this.

As always, horde players want petty revenge for their story, rather than try and improve their own.

After years of Blizzard taking a continuous dump on the Horde, all while Alliance players keep screeching “we wanted to be treated like them!”, certainly, by all means, I hope you get what you’ve been asking for.

Afraid to be part of the bad guys? Nothing to do with revenge… I think the Alliance being the bad guy, could make for a good story. Make them a dictatorship and try to force themselves and their beliefs onto others. Open your mind dude.

This is right but, my theory is that if and when Anduin tries to return, they’ll reject him as king. Turalyon will sure go crazy and get worse when Yrel comes. This a built up for him possibly being a big bad later on down the road. Sure, Genn said that. But the house of nobles, Turalyon, and the light he worships are different minded beings.

Turalyon will just become king of Stormwind, not the entire Alliance. He already is commander of the Alliance, though.

Why? Because Anduin said so. Who gave Anduin the right to talk above Velen, Moira, Tyrande, etc and say his human command them? Human Potential and boring protagonism.

I’m inclined to agree. The Horde has been having all these upheavals of power; not one of the original chieftains (when we began in vanilla, almost twenty years ago) is in place. Thrall has gone from supreme power to one of many after a LONG road; Cairne and Vol’jin are dead; and Sylvanas is off paying her “penance” (her head’s not on a pike, that’s not penance). The Horde has had multiple uprisings and civil wars, two of which resulted in major regime changes at the top.

The Alliance has had almost none of that; we started with Anduin under a regency, and then Varian returned, and then a relatively smooth transition of power back to Anduin (in his own right) in Legion, and now Anduin officially naming Turalyon as regent in his place - since I think Turalyon just kind of stepped in after Anduin was kidnapped. It’s all very neat and tidy, no civil war involved with the supreme leadership.

I think that should change. I think there will be some kind of uprising in Stormwind to an inevitable crackdown by Turalyon against dark magic in Stormwind - going after the warlocks (like Garrosh did in Siege of Orgrimmar), the death knights, the demon hunters - probably pent-up hate after Illidan destroyed Xe’ra, thinking “all of them are like him”, etc. - and his pushing for another war with the Horde. Maybe a showdown between Turalyon and Alleria (given the fact that she is “tainted”).

On top of that, I think an effort should be made to remove the narrow-minded and incompetent theocratic dictatorship over the night elves. I’ve felt that Tyrande often put her own feelings over that of her people’s welfare, i.e. how she spent a lot of Val’sharah looking for Malfurion while there was a big threat coming for the temple of her own frigging goddess, and when she couldn’t find her pooky-wookums she went “okay, FINE, I’ll go defend the temple”, and then the whole hunt for Sylvanas. Her people needed leadership, and they… weren’t getting it. She’s off galavanting as her feelings dictate, while her hubby sleeps all day.

But it will never happen. The Alliance can do no wrong. There’s no uprisings, only happy little protests.

Is that certain, or just speculation? I guess maybe there’s no one else at this point.

I was really REALLY hoping that they were going to split into four factions at the end of BFA. I know it was a pipe dream but…Alliance splitting between Anduin and Tyrande, and Horde between Sylvanas and Baine, would have been fun. They could have broken down the faction divide for game play at that point too.

Why don’t we like Turalyon?

Some how i believe that would happen, from what I take there really isn’t that much love take between her and Turalyon.

He’s been sitting in it all expansion…

He’s a hot head and rushes to judgement without thinking.

Illidan kills his naaru and turalyon is the bad guy for reacting to that?
