That is very much dependent on how much money the first made, which is none.
If we’re talking about quality, I actually liked the first one and have seen it many times.

That statement is by no means axiomatic or empirically true. Every investor takes a risk when making a movie. There is arguably enough interest in the first one that could possibly justify in the investors minds moving forward with another WOW movie.
I would love to see them do a series like a sort of Game of Thrones format.
I mean you can argue anything - doesn’t make you right.
WoW is drastically less popular now than it was when the first movie was made, and the movie still flopped. It would take a producer that just loves the franchise beyond all expectation of profit or one that’s reaaaaal dumb to make a sequel.
That’s not a risk that they can afford with everything going on…
But she doesn’t embody girl power.
First she was used and abused by a man, then she committed suicide when she failed in her revenge against him, then she came back being used and manipulated by another man.
She has no autonomy, no agency.
She isn’t even a whole person.
There is no triumph here.
Shadowlands ruined her even worse than BfA.
You know… people do like a good villain. And Sylvanas definitely is a villain. I personally have come to detest Sylvanas. She is very generic and seems to have completely lost her soul. Either by lack of character development or by intention. I personally think she has become annoying. She fails to get me enmeshed in the story line, as I have very little sympathy for her based on what she did. Maybe if someone like Jennifer Lawrence had the role she could make it interesting. But, it would take a good actor and a good script.

Just make it a series and I would prefer to have story on the side of elf evolution from dark trolls, azhara betrayal and her deals with both the legion and n’zoth, jaina or arthas history, variann onyxia problem or even the creation of ogrimmar with thrall, vol’jin, cairne, chen and mostly rexxar.
